Conor Benn Record<\/h2>\n

Conor Benn is one of the hottest prospects and future stars of British boxing. You could argue that Benn is already one of the biggest stars in the UK, especially if he was to beat Chris Eubank Jr on April 26th.<\/p>\n

Having made his professional debut back in April 2016, ‘The Destroyer’ has had a further 22 fights since then. Of these 23 career fights so far, he has won each and every one of them – 154 of which have come inside the distance. More on his fight-by-fight record later on.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old is currently promoted by Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing, having signed a promotional agreement with them from the outset of his pro career. Given his style in the ring, his historic Benn name and all-round demeanour, Benn is one of the most loved and hated fighters in the country.<\/p>\n

As previously mentioned, Conor Benn turned professional back in April 2016. The Englishman boxed six times in 2016, winning every fight with three of these wins coming by way of knockout.<\/p>\n

In his second year as a professional, Benn had a further five fights. Of these five fights in 2017, the 28-year-old won four bouts via knockout before then moving to 11-0 against Cedrick Peynaud in what was a huge learning fight for Benn.<\/p>\n

Benn then fought twice in 2018, winning both fights in more impressive fashion than before. One of these wins was a rematch victory against Peynaud, who Benn beat with ease second time around.<\/p>\n

It was clear to see the improvements that the son of Nigel Benn was making fight by fight, following an incredibly short amateur career. Benn then won another three fights in 2019, all with ease. With Conor Benn’s record now at 16-0 with 11 knockouts, it was time for ‘The Destroyer’ to step up in levels.<\/p>\n

In his 17th fight, Benn fought former world IBO World Welterweight champion Sebastian Formella. This was huge test for Benn on paper, but he passed it with flying colours with a one-sided unanimous decision victory.<\/p>\n

Next up was Samuel Vargas in his 18th fight, which on paper was incredibly tough against a man who had shared the ring with the likes of Amir Khan, Errol Spence Jr and Vergil Ortiz Jr.<\/p>\n

In one of his most emphatic stoppages to date, Benn made light work of Vargas, beating him in brutal fashion with a Round 1 knockout. Nobody had ever beaten Vargas like that. The world was now beginning to really take notice of Conor Benn.<\/p>\n

Conor Benn’s Fight Record Includes Showdown With Bitter Rival Chris Eubank Jr<\/h3>\n

In his 19th fight, Benn was put in with Adrian Granados – another world level fight. Again, the young, fresh and explosive ‘Destroyer’ proved far too much for the American, widely outpointing him via unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

Conor Benn’s record then improved to 20-0 with an chilling knockout of former world champion Chris Algieri, before then improving to 21-0 with another destructive stoppage. This time it was Chris van Heerden who was on the receiving end.<\/p>\n

Then came the scheduled Chris Eubank Jr clash in October 2022. However, due to Benn’s two failed performance enhancing drugs tests, boxing fans never got to see that fight. After a lengthy period of absence from the ring, Benn then return in the US in September 2023.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old beat Rodolfo Orozco by unanimous decision, before then fighting again in American in February 2024. On that occasion, Benn widely outpointed Peter Dobson to improve his record to 23-0.<\/p>\n

That takes us up to now in the career of ‘The Destroyer’. Should he beat Chris Eubank Jr on April 26th at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the UK really will have their next pay-per-view superstar. Love him or hate him, he is must-watch TV and an extremely talented fighter.<\/p>\n

What Has Conor Benn Said Ahead His Fight With Rival Chris Eubank Jr?<\/h2>\n

Benn insists he doesn’t see himself as a ‘bad guy’ and is not an angry man ahead of their grudge match.<\/p>\n

“I’m not angry. I think that’s what people have mistaken. I’m not angry. I’m intense and I’m passionate. You could say maybe I’m a little bit angry. Not with him, I’m just an intense person come fight week. I think it’s always personal when someone’s trying to take something away from you,” Benn told\u00a0Sky Sports<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Have I ever lost my composure? Maybe early doors, not now.”<\/p>\n

Following the pair’s 2022 bout being called off after Benn’s drug test results emerging and then having his provisional suspension lifted, Benn reveals he’s still healing from the saga and is now done with it.<\/p>\n

“I felt like I had vindication when I won the first case, the first hearing,” Benn said. “There’s nothing more I can do. There’s nothing more I can say. Ultimately it’s a big story and people just want a story, people want something to gossip about to talk about, but ultimately it’s done. Done.”<\/p>\n

“I was definitely broken,” Benn said. “It’s still healing.<\/p>\n
