FPL Pras is back with his top FPL picks for gameweek 35, including both a popular and an ‘under the radar’ choice you should consider for each position in your team.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m Pras, and welcome to my weekly series for SportsCasting<\/strong><\/em>, where I will be providing my thoughts on my Fantasy Premier League<\/strong><\/a> tips.<\/p>\n

For context, over the last 12 seasons of FPL I have achieved four top 10k finishes, including two top 5k finishes.<\/p>\n

My seasonal average over the last seven seasons is around 21k. I am currently ranked 3k.<\/p>\n

Every week, I\u2019ll be giving you advice on the key defenders, midfielders and attackers in FPL.<\/p>\n

As this week comes on the back of the announcement that there will be no further blank or double gameweeks, I share here my key picks from now until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

In keeping with the theme of my articles, I suggest one popular option and one perhaps going a little under the radar.<\/p>\n

Pras’ FPL Picks For Gameweek 35<\/h2>\n

Defenders<\/h3>\n

Popular \u2013<\/strong> Mykolenko and Everton are pretty good at keeping clean sheets against teams in the bottom half of the table.<\/p>\n

They have already shut out their opponents, Ipswich, in the reverse fixture at Portman Road.<\/p>\n

Everton are the only side to play two relegated teams in the final 4 fixtures.<\/p>\n

\"FPL
Everton’s Mykolenko is a solid option in defence this week.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Under the radar \u2013<\/strong> Aaron Wan Bissaka has been quietly doing the business.<\/p>\n

Not only in defence, he’s also taking up some great positions in attack on the right, allowing Bowen to play centrally.<\/p>\n

A clean sheet against Spurs between their Bodo Glimt legs isn\u2019t out of question either.<\/p>\n

Midfielders<\/h3>\n

Popular \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0 Bryan Mbeumo has got a lot of attention from the FPL community this week.<\/p>\n

Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo is a superb choice for gameweek 35.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They have a great fixture this week \u2013 against a probably rested Man Utd team (as it is sandwiched by the Europa League semifinals) and another great one one against Ipswich Town in Gameweek 36.<\/p>\n

They are popular for a reason.<\/p>\n

Under the radar<\/strong> \u2013<\/strong> I fully expect Jarrod Bowen to do well in the final 4 games. He\u2019s returned in back-to-back matches, registering two assists and a bonus in Gameweek 34, after a goal and bonus in Gameweek 33.<\/p>\n

Against a Spurs defence that will likely be rotated and already ranked 17th for expected goals conceded (xGC) since the turn of the year, I expect Bowen to get some joy.<\/p>\n

Forwards<\/h3>\n

Nailed on \u2013<\/strong> For similar reasons to Mbeumo above, Yoanne Wissa is a popular buy.<\/p>\n

The pair are on 18 and 16 goals respectively this season. Across the campaign they have the fifth and sixth best rates of expected goal involvement (xGI).<\/p>\n

Left field choice<\/strong> \u2013<\/strong> Ollie Watkins is a low-owned, under the radar pick.<\/p>\n

We now know that Marcus Rashford is out for \u201cseveral weeks\u201d.<\/p>\n

And with him being ineligible to play vs Man Utd in GW38, Watkins has a clear run at the starting role for a team that can\u2019t afford to drop any points in the race for Champions League<\/strong><\/a> qualification.<\/p>\n

\"Ollie
Ollie Watkins could be an astute addition for your FPL team in attack.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They have a couple of home games left in the season, including a very juicy one against Tottenham Hotspur at home in Gameweek 37.<\/p>\n

If Spurs qualify, that might fall just a few days before the UEFA Europa League<\/strong><\/a> final.<\/p>\n
