As the Three Lions start another Nations League, many will be asking what is the England FIFA ranking 2024 and did they move up any places after reaching the Euro 2024 Final? <\/strong><\/p>\n

With that in mind, we look at the current FIFA rankings for the top 20 sides and where England and the other home nation sides sit amongst the best teams in the world.<\/p>\n

England FIFA Ranking 2024 Sees Three Lions Up To Fourth After Euro Final <\/strong><\/h2>\n

With the dust now settled on the summer European Championships, the Three Lions – who are armed with a new interim manager (Lee Carsley) – will now set their sights on another Nations League campaign.<\/p>\n

While, because of their Euro 2024 final finish, the England FIFA ranking<\/strong> has seen them move up to fourth (from 5th) and now have just Argentia, France and Spain – who they lost out to in the Euro Final – ahead of them.<\/p>\n

Plus, their excellent Euro football<\/a> tournament, coupled with Brazil crashing out of their summer event (Copa America) at the quarter-finals stage, has also seen their England FIFA ranking leapfrog the five time world champions.<\/p>\n

England will face Finland, Greece and Ireland in their upcoming Nations League group and are the clear top-ranked team of that quartet – being a massive 50 FIFA ranking places ahead of Greece, 54 in front of Ireland and 59 better than Finland (see below).<\/p>\n

    How Does The England FIFA Ranking Compare To The Other Home Nations?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Looking at the England FIFA ranking against the other home nation sides also sees the Three Lions clear of the pack.<\/p>\n

    It’s Wales in 30th, who are closest to England in the rankings table at the moment – with Scotland 48th and Northern Ireland 74th.<\/p>\n

    While the Republic Of Ireland currently have a FIFA ranking of 58th.<\/p>\n

    Scotland also fell nine places from 39th to 48th after their poor display in at Euro 2024 – failing to get out of their group.<\/p>\n

      World Champions Argentina Remain Top Of The FIFA Rankings After Copa America Success<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      There seems to be no stopping Argentina at the moment and the FIFA rankings back this up with the current world champions top of the tree.<\/p>\n

      They retained their status of ‘Kings of South America’ with a summer Copa America win after seeing off Colombia in extra-time in the final and sit 46.57 points ahead of second-placed France in the rankings table.<\/p>\n

      Spain FIFA Ranking Sees Euro 2024 Champs Move Up Five Places<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      Having landed their fourth Euro title in the summer, Spain were one of the biggest movers from the main nations – moving up five places to third.<\/p>\n

      Spain had been back in eighth prior to Euro 2024, but a 2-1 win over England in the final saw them rack up 105.75 points and in the process go ahead of Brazil (5th), Belgium (6th) and Portugal (8th).<\/p>\n

      Venezuela Move Up 17 Places In FIFA Rankings<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      Having made it to the Copa America quarter-finals, when losing out to Canada on penalties, Venezuela still managed to gain a stack of FIFA ranking points,<\/p>\n
