The DP World Tour returns to Belgium for the Soudal Open this week, and there’s $2.75 million in prize money on offer, with the winner set to land a $467,500 windfall. <\/span><\/span><\/strong>Read on for the full purse breakdown here on SportsCasting<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Antwerp’s Rinkven International Golf Club hosts the Soudal Open for a fourth successive year this week, with players battling it out for an increased purse, as well as a share of the 3,500 Dubai points and 1,000 Ryder Cup points on offer.<\/p>\n

The tournament, previously known as the Belgian Open, has been held sporadically since 1910 and has been hosted in numerous golfing venues in Belgium, including the Royal Zoute, the Royal Waterloo and the Royal Bercuit.<\/p>\n

This year’s event is the second tournament in the DP World Tour’s six-event European Swing, the winner of which will earn an additional $200,000, with this week’s action getting underway on Thursday, 22 May, through to Sunday, 25 May.<\/p>\n

It comes a week after Scottie Scheffler claimed his first US PGA Championship<\/a> crown, winning the tournament by five strokes.<\/p>\n

What Is The Prize Money at the 2025 Soudal Open?<\/h2>\n

A total of $2.75 million in prize money is up for grabs at the 2025 Soudal Open, with the total purse increasing by $250,000 on last year’s event, where Spaniard Nacho Elvira claimed top spot to take home the maximum cash prize.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

How Much Money Does The Soudal Open Winner Earn?<\/h2>\n

This year, the tournament winner will earn $467,500, an increase of $42,500 from 2024, while the runner up will secure $302,500, and third place will land a healthy sum of $173,250 for a weekend’s work.<\/p>\n

Fourth place and fifth place are the final two positions that will earn players over $100,000, at $137,500 and $116,600 respectively. Players finishing in the remaining positions will secure less than $100,000 each.<\/p>\n
