FPL Salah shares his take on the players of the season for the 2024\/25 campaign and a quick look ahead for next season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abdul Rehman, known in the community as FPL Salah, returns with another week of Fantasy Premier League tips as part of his ongoing series with SportsCasting<\/em>.<\/p>\n

With over 17 years of FPL experience, 14 top 50k finishes, and four top 1k finishes, you\u2019re in safe hands.<\/p>\n

This week, FPL Salah discusses the best players in each position and what we can maybe expect next season.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s always good to assess your season to see how you can improve your game or if there was something you missed.<\/p>\n

This is just a light-hearted look at who the standout picks were and ones to watch for next season.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s dive in.<\/p>\n

FPL Salah’s Fantasy Players Of The Season<\/h2>\n

Goalkeepers<\/h3>\n

Jordan Pickford (\u00a35.2m) finished the season as the highest scoring goalkeeper with 158 points.<\/p>\n

Everton kept an impressive 12 clean sheets, which isn’t a surprise given their resolute defence.<\/p>\n

Everton’s Jordan Pickford enjoyed another strong season between the sticks.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Mark Flekken (\u00a34.6m) was the highest scoring budget keeper with 138 points.<\/p>\n

One goalkeeper I have my eye on early doors is James Trafford, with Burnley promoted to the Premier League<\/strong><\/a> next season.<\/p>\n

I am very interested to see how their defence gets on in the top flight.<\/p>\n

They only conceded 16 goals in 46 games and kept 30 clean sheets, which was a record for the Championship. Unbelievable numbers.<\/p>\n

Defenders<\/h3>\n

Josko Gvardiol (\u00a36.5m) ended the season as the highest scoring defender (153 points).\u00a0 I reckon he will be one of the most expensive defenders in the game.<\/p>\n

With Trent Alexander-Arnold (\u00a37.2m) joining the list of British footballers who have played for Real Madrid<\/strong><\/a> from next season, there is an opportunity for a new king in the defenders category.<\/p>\n

Daniel Munoz (\u00a35.2m) is another one who might see a price increase.<\/p>\n

He is the most attacking defender in the game and managed four goals and six assists.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace’s Daniel Munoz could go up in price next season.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Milos Kerkez (\u00a35.3m) is one to watch also if he moves to Liverpool. The Hungarian has been heavily linked to a move to Merseyside.<\/p>\n

Another attacking full-back heavily linked to Liverpool is Jeremie Frimpong who will replace Alexander-Arnold on the right.<\/p>\n

The highly attacking rightback has six goals and 20 assists from the fullback position according to Transfermarkt<\/em> so the Dutchman could end up being FPL gold.<\/p>\n

Midfielders<\/h3>\n

Mohamed Salah (\u00a313.6m) had an insane season. He beat the FPL points record (344 points), surpassing his own record of 303 points which he achieved in the 2017\/18 season.<\/p>\n

I think the Egyptian will be the highest priced player in the game for the new season, possibly coming in at \u00a314.5m or \u00a315.0m.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo (\u00a38.3m) ended the season as the second highest scoring player in the game with 20 goals and nine assists.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see where he ends up next season and I imagine we see a price hike for him too.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo has been a standout performer in FPL this year.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Jarrod Bowen (\u00a37.9m) and Antoine Semenyo (\u00a35.7m) are ones to watch for next season. Both finished in the top seven for points among midfielders.<\/p>\n

Both are nailed to start and play 90 minutes in most games.<\/p>\n

Florian Wirtz is another one heavily linked to Liverpool and he would be a great addition to the Premier League and FPL.<\/p>\n

Another big hitter like him would certainly makes things more interesting. I would guess he would be priced at \u00a38.5m.<\/p>\n

Forwards<\/h3>\n

Alxander Isak (\u00a39.4m), Chris Wood (\u00a37.2m) and Ollie Watkins (\u00a39.2m) were the top three scoring forwards respectively.<\/p>\n

Isak has proven his elite status with back to back seasons scoring 20+ goals. I think we may see him at \u00a310.0m-\u00a310.5m next term.<\/p>\n

Wood also hit 20 goals and was one of the surprise packages of the season.<\/p>\n

Yoane Wissa (\u00a36.9m) started the season at \u00a36.0m and managed 19 goals and six assists.<\/p>\n

An incredible season for the Brentford man means he should get a significant price hike and definitely one to watch next season, especially if Mbeumo moves away.<\/p>\n

This would mean Wissa gets more of the goal share and will also likely mean he will be the first choice penalty taker.<\/p>\n

\"Gianni's
Brentford’s Yoanne Wissa is likely to have a big price jump next season.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Mathues Cunha (\u00a37.0m) also impressed with 15 goals and seven assists. It will be interesting to see how much he is priced at with his move to Manchester United.<\/p>\n

I also think there is a chance FPL classify him as a midfielder next season.<\/p>\n

We might also be getting another big hitting forward if Viktor Gy\u00f6keres signs for Arsenal.<\/p>\n

There has been plenty of talk about a move to the North London club over the past few months.<\/p>\n

The Swedish international is a phenomenon \u2013 he’s scored 39 goals and eight assists in 33 league games for Sporting Lisbon this term.<\/p>\n

If he makes a move to the Premier League I don’t see him having any teething problems. I predict he will be priced at around \u00a39.5m – \u00a310.0m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
