{"id":51280,"date":"2025-06-02T09:43:35","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T09:43:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/?p=51280"},"modified":"2025-06-02T09:43:35","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T09:43:35","slug":"pdc-order-of-merit-update-aspinall-heta-rise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/pdc-order-of-merit-update-aspinall-heta-rise\/","title":{"rendered":"PDC Order of Merit: European Darts Open Finalists Nathan Aspinall and Damon Heta Rise In Latest Rankings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>European Darts Open finalists Nathan Aspinall and Damon Heta have risen up the rankings in the latest PDC Order of Merit update.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Nathan Aspinall Seals European Darts Open Title<\/h2>\n<p>Nathan Aspinall doubled his European Tour title tally for the year with a dramatic 8-6 win over Damon Heta in the European Darts Open final on Sunday. \u2018The Asp\u2019 beat Bradley Brooks, Ricardo Pietreczko, Chris Dobey and Wessel Nijman on his way to the final and scooped up the maximum \u00a330,000 payout for his success in Leverkusen.<\/p>\n<p>It followed on from a semi-final finish in the 2025 PDC Premier League, for which he picked up \u00a385,000 last Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo bounce back after the defeat on Thursday night, to come here and win this tournament, shows where my game\u2019s at at the moment,\u201d Aspinall said off the back of his triumph.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t make games easy but in the semi-final and final I played fantastic. Credit to Damon \u2013 I thought that final was absolutely fantastic, it was a great game of darts, nip and tuck.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been through rubbish but I\u2019m getting back there. If you want something you have to fight, to believe you can do it. Heta has also moved up to eighth, having previously been in 10th place.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/luke-humphries-premier-league-darts-triple-crown-win\/\">Luke Humphries, who won the 2025 Premier League to complete the darts Triple Crown<\/a>, remains top of the rankings. This is despite his prize money from the Premier League title win not counting towards the Order of Merit, as the tournament is not classed as a ranking event.<\/p>\n<p>Luke Littler follows in second with \u00a31,300,500 in earnings over the last two years. The remainder of the top five is made up of Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and Jonny Clayton.<\/p>\n<p>Dropping down the rankings, meanwhile, off the back of an underwhelming showing in the Premier League is Rob Cross. \u2018Voltage\u2019 drops down three spots to ninth place, while James Wade has also dropped down to 10th.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-table su-table-responsive
