Andrew Balding does well with second time out juveniles who were beaten on turf on their debuts but still ran within ten lengths of the winner. He\u2019s scored with 92 of the 369 qualifiers (24.9% strike-rate) for a profit of \u00a384.25 to a \u00a31 level stake at SP. The strike-rate improves to 33.2% on the all-weather (21 from 65, +\u00a341.07), with 19 of the 44 beaten horses running second or third. SECRET LOVE<\/strong> is the second favourite in this match race with Godolphin\u2019s newcomer CARDINAL POINT<\/strong>, but she showed plenty of ability when a 9-1 sixth (beaten by 5.75L) at Newmarket on her debut and she can put that experience to good use.<\/p>\n

Leading owners Amo Racing do very well with newcomers, regardless of age and who trains them, scoring with 47 of the 224 qualifiers (21%) for a profit of \u00a333.73 to a \u00a31 level stake at SP. Ralph Beckett\u2019s CATHEDRAL<\/strong>, an 800,000euro Breeze-up purchase, should know her job and looks nicely drawn in stall 4.<\/p>\n
