Not only did they win LaLiga, but they also secured the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de Espana. They beat rivals Real Madrid in all three competitions, including two cup finals.<\/p>\n<p>Several top-tier footballers reportedly believe something special is about developing in Catalonia. The 33-year-old, who believes he can play at the top level for at least one more season, offered his services to Barcelona. The Belgian maestro was prepared to sign a one-year deal and play out wide.<\/p>\n<p>Despite his impressive track record in the Premier League and free agent status, Barca have declined his offer. They are not looking for a player of De Bruyne&#8217;s profile and are eyeing a move for Liverpool&#8217;s Luis Diaz instead.<\/p>\n<h3>Barca Prefer Luis Diaz Over Kevin De Bruyne<\/h3>\n<p>As per Sport, Barcelona want to sign a player who can operate at the highest level for at least three to four years. Kevin De Bruyne, already 33 and with a poor fitness record in recent seasons, does not fit the profile.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool winger, Luis Diaz, on the other hand, is reportedly a perfect match. They have already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/liverpool-reject-barcelona-approach-for-luis-diaz-as-spanish-giants-told-player-is-not-for-sale\/\">turned down advances from Barcelona<\/a>, but the Spanish side have yet to throw in the towel.<\/p>\n<p>Although Barcelona have rejected his offer, De Bruyne should find himself a home in Europe. According to reports, Serie A winners Napoli are likely to be his next club.<\/p>\n<h2>Luis Diaz vs Kevin De Bruyne: Stats in the Premier League<\/h2>\n<p>Liverpool signed Luis Diaz from FC Porto in January 2022. Since the switch to Merseyside, Diaz has played 103 games in the Premier League. He has scored 29 goals, provided 15 assists, created 17 big chances, and made 100 tackles. Diaz is a relentless pressing machine, which makes him a massive asset to his team.<\/p>\n<p>While Diaz excels on the left wing, Kevin De Bruyne is a master at picking out the right pass.
