Two members of the Tottenham medical staff have been sacked as the club continues to make major changes to their back-room team ahead of next season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spurs have announced a double departure, with director of performance services Adam Brett and head of sports science Nick Davies both leaving the club after just one year in their respective roles.<\/p>\n

Having spent nearly a decade at Brighton, Brett joined Spurs at the same time as Davies arrived from West Ham after previously working with the Welsh national team.<\/p>\n

But according to a report by football.london<\/em>, the pair have been dismissed in part due to Spurs’ woeful injury record last season.<\/p>\n

Former boss Ange Postecoglou’s side was decimated by unavailability last campaign.<\/p>\n

The Australian manager at times had as few as 13 senior players fit.<\/p>\n

And a number of concerning re-injuries occurred, keeping players out for long periods.<\/p>\n

Key men Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven both suffered repetitive problems, as did\u00a0Wilson Odobert, Richarlison and Ben Davies.<\/p>\n
