We’re taking a look at who could become Liverpool’s Luis Diaz replacement as Bayern Munich launched a bid for the Reds winger.<\/strong><\/p>\n

German giants Bayern seem determined to sign Colombian international Luis Diaz.<\/p>\n

According to BILD, the Bavarian outfit have reportedly launched a \u00a345 million bid for the 28-year-old.<\/p>\n

In theory, this offer is well below Liverpool’s \u00a370 million valuation of Diaz.<\/p>\n

Diaz has reportedly informed Bayern of his desire to join, though Liverpool have publicly stated that he is not for sale.<\/p>\n

The Reds rejected Barcelona’s approach for Diaz<\/strong><\/a> in June.<\/p>\n

But it is believed that the Reds may yet be willing to part with their man if an acceptable offer arrives.<\/p>\n

Luis Diaz Bayern Munich Bid A Statement Of Intent<\/h2>\n

And this bid shows that Bayern are ready to battle for the Liverpool forward<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Should they return with an improved offer, in excess of \u00a350 million, Diaz could yet depart Anfield.<\/p>\n

However, the tragic passing of Diogo Jota means Liverpool may now opt to keep Diaz as a result.<\/p>\n

But should he leave, we’ve taken a look at five men who could become a Luis Diaz replacement.<\/p>\n

Who Could Be A Luis Diaz Replacement?<\/h2>\n

Rodrygo<\/h3>\n

Real Madrid’s Rodrygo is one possible target. The Brazilian lost his place in Xabi Alonso’s starting XI for Real’s Club World Cup semi-final loss to Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n

Often overshadowed by the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo may want a new challenge.<\/p>\n

He has already been linked with Liverpool, and almost joined as a teenager.<\/p>\n

But the 24-year-old’s price tag is likely to be huge, making any move rather unlikely.<\/p>\n

Anthony Gordon<\/h3>\n

\"Luis<\/p>\n

The Reds remain interested in Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon.<\/p>\n

According to reports, Liverpool are planning a move for the 24-year-old.<\/p>\n

Gordon is said to be very keen on making the switch to Anfield.<\/p>\n

And with Newcastle signing Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest, that could open the door to Gordon leaving.<\/p>\n

However, having recently signed a new, long-term deal with the Magpies, he too would command a hefty fee.<\/p>\n

Liverpool may therefore have to look elsewhere, with some reports suggesting Newcastle could demand \u00a3100 million.<\/p>\n

Kenan Yildiz<\/h3>\n

One man a lot of Liverpool fans have been desperate to see in red is Kenan Yildaz.<\/p>\n

The Turkish international was a key man for Juventus last season, scoring 12 goals.<\/p>\n

Having broken into the starting lineup in Turin, his stock is quickly rising.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old has been compared to PSG star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who also burst onto the scene in recent years.<\/p>\n

But if the likes of Gordon and Rodrygo are ‘unlikely’ summer signings, this one is bordering on impossible.<\/p>\n

Juventus would never sanction the sale of a 20-year-old with such a high ceiling, save for an astronomical price.<\/p>\n

Florian Wirtz<\/h3>\n

Speaking of enormous price tage, Liverpool’s record signing Florian Wirtz arrived recently for \u00a3116 million.<\/p>\n

The German is expected to slot into the number 10 role, but he has played out wide before.<\/p>\n

His creativity and energy could be well utilised on the flank.<\/p>\n

And although not as quick as Diaz, he would offer different abilities to Arne Slot.<\/p>\n

This would also allow Dominik Szoboszlai to play more often in his preferred position.<\/p>\n

Wirtz may not be used on the wing primarily, but his ability to cover there may prove invaluable, especially if Cody Gakpo picks up any injuries.<\/p>\n

Federico Chiesa<\/h3>\n
