Chelsea star Cole Palmer was given a hero’s welcome upon his arrival in St. Kitts and Nevis on Monday evening off the back of his triumph at the Club World Cup.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cole Palmer Given Hero’s Welcome In St. Kitts Following Club World Cup<\/h2>\n

Chelsea and England star Cole Palmer was given a hero’s welcome upon his arrival in St. Kitts and Nevis on Monday, fresh off the back of winning the Club World Cup in the United States.<\/p>\n

Palmer scored twice and assisted in the final as the Blues ran out as 3-0 winners over European champions Paris Saint-Germain at the MetLife Stadium in New York on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old won the Golden Ball, awarded to the tournament’s best player, receiving the accolade from President Donald Trump. He was also named in the Team of the Tournament<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He contributed with three goals and two assists in six Club World Cup matches.<\/p>\n

Wasting no time, Palmer has jetted off to St. Kitts and Nevis for a family holiday. He is due to return to London on 4 August for pre-season before the Premier League restarts next month.<\/p>\n

He was greeted with an authentic Kittian welcome by Masquerade performers upon arrival and met with Deputy Prime Minister Geoffrey Hanley and Tourism Minister Marsha T Henderson.<\/p>\n

St Kitts Prime Minister Terrance Drew reacted to Palmer’s visit by saying:\u00a0\u201cCole Palmer\u2019s visit to St Kitts and Nevis is a powerful reminder of the strength and pride of our diaspora.<\/em><\/p>\n
