Which is where the Stewards&#8217; Cup trends and stats come into play as we can try and whittle down the big field.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These include a HUGE age trend that is showing a 95% return in the last 22 runnings &#8211; which we can apply to the final runners and hopefully rule these out.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stewards&#8217; Cup Trends Point To Horses Aged 6 Or Younger<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The key age Stewards&#8217; Cup trend is &#8211; that has seen a massive 95% (21 of the last 22) of winners in recent years &#8211; is to look for horses aged 6 or younger.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, of the 28 field &#8211; a of horses will still be in this age bracket &#8211; but it&#8217;s still a stat that will knockout EIGHT of the runners.<\/p>\n<p>This will then leave us with 20 horses to whittle down &#8211; but the good news is there are other key stats to help here.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, in 2017 Lancelot Du Lac won aged 7, but he&#8217;s the only one aged 7+ to land the spoils since 1996.<\/p>\n<p>The eight horses aged 7 or older this year are below.<\/p>\n<p>Including two-time winner of the race Commanche Falls and last year&#8217;s hero Get It, who is well-fancied with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/betting-sites\/horse-racing\/\">horse racing betting sites<\/a> for a repeat win.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strike Red (7)<\/li>\n<li>Saint Lawrence (7)<\/li>\n<li>Vadream (7)<\/li>\n<li>Commanche Falls (8)<\/li>\n<li>Twilight Jet (7)<\/li>\n<li>Jordan Electrics (9)<\/li>\n<li>Get It (7)<\/li>\n<li>Apollo One (7)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We could also take this age trend a tiny bit further as 23 of the last 27 winners were aged between 4-6.<\/p>\n<p>Meaning any 3 year-olds might be up against it &#8211; but this stat might be turning as in the last 10 runnings we&#8217;ve seen three winning 3 year-olds.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What About The Stewards&#8217; Cup Draw?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Now with there being 28 runners, then it goes without saying &#8211; the bulk of the runners will have a double-figure draw.<\/p>\n<p>Only nine horses won&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, when we tell you that 16 of the last 20 winners came from stalls 10+ &#8211; this might not really tell us much.<\/p>\n<p>However, it&#8217;s still a fair 80% return &#8211; and seven of the last eight winners hailed from stalls 15+.<\/p>\n<p>With the last five winners coming from gates 28, 15, 19, 23 and 17.<\/p>\n<p>While seven of the top 8 finishers last year also all started in a double-figure berth.<\/p>\n<p>The horses draw in single figures are.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 Completely Random<\/li>\n<li>2 Jordan Electrics<\/li>\n<li>3 Orazio<\/li>\n<li>4 Hammer the Hammer<\/li>\n<li>5 Vadream<\/li>\n<li>6 Purosangue<\/li>\n<li>7 Commanche Falls<\/li>\n<li>8 Elmonjed<\/li>\n<li>9 Germanic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Seven Of The Last Eight Winners Carried 9st 1lb Or More In Weight\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Being a handicap, then weight carried is also worth a look.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, the race has seen seven of the last eight winners carry 9st 1lbs or more &#8211; with only Aberama Gold in 2023 winning with less (8-13).<\/p>\n<p>Which is suggesting this prize is now being targeted by the slightly better horses.<\/p>\n<p>Last year&#8217;s winner Get It lumped 9st 5lbs and this year will try again but with 9st 9lbs.<\/p>\n<p>Summerghand won with 9st 10lbs in 2020 and Hoof It won with a massive 10st in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>But before that you have to go back to 1993 when King&#8217;s Signet carried 9st 10lbs.<\/p>\n<p>Suggesting the two top-weights &#8211; Cup Winner Get It Back For More\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This year&#8217;s race also sees two recent winners back for more.<\/p>\n<p>The 2021 and 2022 winner Commanche Falls returns aged 8 and last year&#8217;s hero Get It is also back.<\/p>\n<p>But prior to two Commanche Falls on the bounce &#8211; two each.<\/p>\n<p>They all have runners again in 2025 too.
