After being found lame since his recent Sussex Stakes defeat at Glorious Goodwood, Field Of Gold will now miss the Group One Juddmonte International at York – and as a result, the Coral-Eclipse first and second Delacroix and Ombudsman are firming up as favourites.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Field Of Gold Ruled Out Of Juddmonte International at York<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Less than a week after Field Of Gold was beaten as the red-hot 1\/3 favourite in the Sussex Stakes, the John Gosden camp have revealed their star miler will miss the Juddmonte International on Wednesday 20th August at York.<\/p>\n

Field Of Gold had been one of the big Glorious Goodwood bankers at the meeting after emphatic wins in the Irish 2000 Guineas and Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot.<\/p>\n

However, the Kingman 3 year-old colt ended a well-beaten fourth.<\/p>\n
