The nominees for the 2025 Yachine Trophy have been revealed, with Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton featuring on the list ahead of the Ballon d’Or ceremony.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chelsea Goalkeeper Nominated For Ballon d’Or Award<\/h2>\n

Chelsea number one Hannah Hampton is among the nominees for the 2025 Yachine Trophy, set to be presented to the world’s best goalkeeper at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in September.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a stellar campaign for both club and country.<\/p>\n

Hampton played a vital role in the Blues’ run to winning a domestic treble, having secured the Women’s Super League title, the Women’s FA Cup and the FA Women’s League Cup.<\/p>\n

She also won the WSL Golden Glove, shared with Manchester United’s Phallon Tullis-Joyce, after keeping 13 clean sheets throughout Chelsea’s 22-game unbeaten season in the league.<\/p>\n

Additionally, she became England’s first-choice stopper ahead of Mary Earps earlier this year and starred as the Lionesses won a second successive European Championship at Euro 2025.<\/p>\n
