The Spark Arena plays host to the 2025 New Zealand Darts Masters this week. Prior to the event, the Auckland arena has been likened to a ‘Premier League venue’.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The New Zealand Masters has been staged in Hamilton for its four previous tournaments, with this year’s World Series of Darts event set for New Zealand’s biggest indoor arena.<\/p>\n

What Is The New Zealand Darts Masters Venue?<\/h2>\n

Some of the world’s best arrow-smiths are playing at the New Zealand Darts Masters 2025<\/a> this weekend in the seventh and penultimate World Series of Darts event of the year.<\/p>\n

This year marks the fifth time the PDC have headed to New Zealand. The first year was in 2019 before a two year hiatus, with a tournament every year from 2022 onwards.<\/p>\n

One difference about this year’s tournament is the change of venue. For the very first time, the Spark Arena in Auckland is hosting the New Zealand Masters this year.<\/p>\n

The four previous tournaments have all taken place in Hamilton rather than Auckland. With the change of venue across Kiwiland, the seventh World Series of Darts event will now be played at the Spark Arena.<\/p>\n

This venue is the biggest indoor arena in all of New Zealand. With a capacity of around 12,000, the Spark Arena is expecting a sell-out across the two days of darting action in Auckland.<\/p>\n

Heading into the tournament, Luke Littler is the UK betting apps<\/a> favourite to follow up his victory last week in Australia with another this week in Kiwiland.<\/p>\n

Spark Arena Likened To ‘Premier League Venue’ For New Zealand Darts Masters 2025<\/h2>\n

This year’s New Zealand Masters is the seventh World Series of Darts event of the year. It is the final regular World Series event before the Finals in Amsterdam from 12-14 September.<\/p>\n

All of the PDC’s top stars such as world number one Luke Humphries, reigning world champion Luke Littler and Gerwyn Price have been in action across the entire World Series campaign.<\/p>\n
