As their London Stadium beer partner BrewDog has been axed from 2,000 pubs.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>BrewDog Axed From 2,000 Pubs &#8211; Could The London Stadium Be Next?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Over the summer, West Ham and Brewdog signed a partnership deal to showcase their top brands in the London Stadium ahead of the new Premier League season.<\/p>\n<p>However, the multi-year deal is already coming under scrutiny with the news this week that 2,000 pubs have axed BrewDog beers from their venues.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/west-ham-brewdog-london-stadium-beer-partnership\/\">BrewDog-West Ham partnership<\/a> has seen many of their leading brands &#8211; like Lost Lager, Punk IPA, Wingman, Cold Beer, Black Heart and Hazy Jane &#8211; in the London Stadium fridges.<\/p>\n<p>With the prices for a pint at the venue expected to fall into line with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/wembley-stadium-beer-prices-2025\/\">Wembley Stadium beer prices<\/a> &#8211; at around \u00a37.60 a pint.<\/p>\n<p>But this latest blow to the controversial brewery will put further pressure on the Scottish company, and in particular the West Ham London Stadium deal.<\/p>\n<p>With many suggesting the &#8216;bubble&#8217; might also burst with this Premier League agreement.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">BrewDog beers axed from almost 2,000 pubs across Britain<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/I706Ne3qYx\">https:\/\/t.co\/I706Ne3qYx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; LBC (@LBC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LBC\/status\/1957008707037901259?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 17, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>This news comes off the back of a bad start to the new season for the East London club &#8211; as West Ham were<em> &#8216;hammered&#8217;<\/em> 3-0 to newly promoted Sunderland at the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>A result that has also put added pressure on boss Graham Potter in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/graham-potter-west-ham-manager-appointment-confirmed\/\">next West Ham manager betting<\/a> market.<\/p>\n<p>While the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/betting-sites\/football\/\">football betting sites<\/a> reacted by cutting West Ham to be relegated to 3\/1.<\/p>\n<p>Things don&#8217;t get any easier for Potter&#8217;s side either &#8211; with their second game on Friday night at home to Chelsea.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Not All West Ham Fans Welcomed The BrewDog London Stadium Deal<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Part of the BrewDog agreement is to also support grassroots football teams with new kits across the East London and Essex regions.<\/p>\n<p>However, many Hammers fans weren&#8217;t happy with BrewDog\/West Ham deal and took to social media back in the summer.<\/p>\n<p>With others taking to\u00a0\u2018X\u2019 to remind West Ham that the BrewDog owner in the past tried to abolish working rights, maternity leave and put everyone on zero-hour contracts.<\/p>\n<p>BrewDog was founded in 2007 by James Watt and Martin Dickie and hit the headlines for many quirky marketing campaigns &#8211; including driving a tank through London.<\/p>\n<p>But despite rising up the ranks in the industry, in more recent times the brewery has come under the spotlight &#8211; with issues surrounding working conditions for their employees.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, allegations were made over James Watt acting inappropriately with female staff members &#8211; which he&#8217;s since denied.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-50840 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/05\/X-West-Ham.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"696\" height=\"502\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/05\/X-West-Ham.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/05\/X-West-Ham-560x404.jpg 560w, https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/05\/X-West-Ham-350x252.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>BrewDog Has Reduced Their UK Distribution By Over A Third In Last Two Years\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This latest BrewDog pub axing has also come hot on the heels of a reported 1,860 pubs turning away from the brand in the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>Which has led to their UK distribution being cut by over a third since 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Their leading brand &#8211; Punk IPA &#8211; has been taken out of the fridges from 1,980 pubs over the same period too.<\/p>\n<p>With it being reported that punters are preferring some of their rival draught beers like Camden Town and Beavertown.<\/p>\n<p>While it&#8217;s not just the London pubs that are turning away from BrewDog, with venues in Leeds, Sheffield, Dundee, Brighton and Oxford also reporting cuts.<\/p>\n<p>Many BrewDog deals are with big chains too &#8211; so once these pubs decide against BrewDog, this is meaning they are out of many locations almost overnight.<\/p>\n<p>Only recently BrewDog announced the closure of their flagship site in Aberdeen &#8211; with another ten having also been shut across the UK.<\/p>\n<p>With these latest blows, the brewery is expected by financial experts to be in the red again this year &#8211; having posted losses of \u00a359m in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>BrewDog is, however, still being stocked in JD Weatherspoons, that have 794 pubs in the UK &#8211;
