{"id":60938,"date":"2025-08-22T13:44:56","date_gmt":"2025-08-22T13:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/?p=60938"},"modified":"2025-08-22T13:44:56","modified_gmt":"2025-08-22T13:44:56","slug":"fabian-edwards-leaon-edwards-head-kick-ko","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/fabian-edwards-leaon-edwards-head-kick-ko\/","title":{"rendered":"Leon Edwards&#8217; Brother Fabian Replicates Chilling Head-Kick To Secure \u00a3375,000 Jackpot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Fabian Edwards became the new PFL Middleweight Tournament Champion after replicating brother Leon&#8217;s chilling head-kick knockout to secure \u00a3375,000 jackpot.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Edwards won the 2025 PFL Middleweight Tournament with a perfectly timed head-kick knockout of Dalton Rosta in the third round.<\/p>\n<h2>Fabian Edwards Wins PFL Middleweight Tournament With Chilling Head-Kick KO<\/h2>\n<p>Fabian Edwards replicated his brother Leon Edwards&#8217; chilling head-kick knockout to win the PFL Middleweight Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>The Englishman fought Dalton Rosta in the PFL middleweight final, knocking the American out with a perfectly timed head-kick with his left leg in the third round.<\/p>\n<p>As well as winning the PFL Middleweight Tournament, Fabian also secured the $500,000 (\u00a3375,000) jackpot for coming out on top at 185-pounds in the Professional Fighters League.<\/p>\n<p>Edwards was the marginal pre-fight favourite with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/betting-sites\/ufc\/\">UFC betting sites<\/a> to beat Rosta, which he did in the most dramatic of fashion on Round 3 of their PFL Middleweight Tournament Final.<\/p>\n<p>The British MMA fighter began to get on top of his opponent in the third round, after a fairly competitive opening two stanzas. Edwards was making his size tell before detonating a perfectly timed head-kick to send Rosta wilting to the canvas.<\/p>\n<p>The American crashed the the ground practically motionless, with the referee jumping in straight away to wave the fight off. On August 21, 2025, Fabian landed a perfectly timed head-kick with his left foot that sent Dalton Rosta straight to the deck.<\/p>\n<p>Fabian&#8217;s kick bared frightening resemblance to his brother&#8217;s famous kick, with both now having unforgettable moments in the cage. That is crazy. God&#8217;s got a funny way of working. I&#8217;m so grateful.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I said to my brother [Leon], he likes to paw, so I said to him I&#8217;m going to try that shot.
