He has become the face of the UFC since becoming heavyweight champion, but who is Tom Aspinall’s wife, and do they have any children?<\/strong><\/p>\n

British heavyweight Tom Aspinall became the undisputed champion following the retirement of Jon Jones.<\/p>\n

Former champions Jones rang UFC CEO Dana White in June to confirm his retirement.<\/p>\n

This prompted interim champ Aspinall to be given the undisputed title.<\/p>\n

He becomes the third British champion after Michael Bisping and Leon Edwards.<\/p>\n

Aspinall’s first defence of the heavyweight title will be against Ciryl Gane in October.<\/p>\n

The Brit is currently 2\/9 favourite with most UK betting sites<\/strong><\/a> to retain his title, while Gane is priced around 3\/1.<\/p>\n

Speaking after being given the undisputed title, Aspinall said via Instagram: “For you fans. It\u2019s time to get this Heavyweight division going. An active Undisputed Champion\u201d.<\/p>\n
