Former UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski has made his predictions for UFC 306, and the Auzzie is giving Merab Dvalishvili the edge against Sean O’Malley in the card’s main event.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volkanovski Predicts Dvalishvili to Beat O’Malley At UFC 306<\/h2>\n

The bout between Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O’Malley<\/a>, set to take place at The Sphere in Las Vegas, is being considered one of the most exciting fights of the year.<\/p>\n

O’Malley, the reigning UFC bantamweight champion<\/a>, is looking to solidify his status as one of the promotion’s biggest stars, while Dvalishvili, known for his relentless pace and grappling skills, aims to capture the title.<\/p>\n

Volkanovski, a former two-time featherweight champion, believes that Dvalishvili’s relentless pressure will ultimately be the deciding factor in the fight.<\/p>\n

“I think he’s gonna eventually get the takedown that he will inevitably be looking for,” Volkanovski said in a video on his YouTube<\/em> channel. “I don’t care how good your footwork is; you’re not gonna keep Merab away from you unless you put his lights out.”<\/p>\n

While O’Malley has earned a reputation for his striking ability, Volkanovski believes that Dvalishvili’s cardio and takedown attempts will eventually wear him down.<\/p>\n

“I think Sean O’Malley’s eye is incredible; his movements gonna make it a little bit hard, but his relentless takedown pressure or his pressure on takedowns, I think he’s gonna eventually get it unless he gets knocked out,” Volkanovski explained.<\/p>\n

Despite his prediction for Dvalishvili, Volkanovski acknowledged that O’Malley possesses the knockout power to end the fight at any moment.<\/p>\n

“I wouldn’t be surprised to see O’Malley pull off another viral knockout,” he said.<\/p>\n
