After a very shaky start to the new 2025\/26 season, the West Ham relegation betting odds continue to tumble – with the bookies taking no chances on the Hammers dropping out of the English top-flight for the first time since 2011.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are now only two sides shorter than the Hammers in the Premier League relegation market.<\/p>\n

Before a ball was kicked ahead of the new 2025\/26 Premier League season, West Ham were under pressure to deliver a better campaign than the last.<\/p>\n

    You have to go back to the 2010-11 season to find the last time West Ham were relegated from the Premier League.<\/p>\n

    That campaign, the Hammers finished 20th in the table and dropped to the Championship.<\/p>\n

    At the time former Chelsea manager Avram Grant was in charge at West Ham – but was sacked straight after their final game that season on May 15th, 2011.<\/p>\n

    But the good news for West Ham fans, was they only lasted one season in the English second tier.<\/p>\n

    They won promotion back to the Premier League via the play-offs in the 2011-12 season, when beating Blackpool 2-1 in the final at Wembley Stadium.<\/p>\n
