Millwall vs Watford Preview and Team News

Preview

Millwall enjoyed a fine start to the 2025/26 season, winning four of their first five games in all competitions. They beat Norwich (2-1) and Sheffield United (1-0) in the Championship and Newport (0-1) and Coventry City (2-1) in the EFL Cup. Their purple patch, however, did not stretch for long.

At the end of August, they slipped to a 2-0 defeat to newly promoted Wrexham, kicking off a winless run of three games. In their last Championship outing they drew 1-1 with Charlton Athletic before crashing out of the EFL Cup following a shootout defeat to Crystal Palace (1-1 at full time).
