Last season, we saw Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton drop to the Championship in their first season back in the English top flight.<\/p>\n<p>This season, Burnley, Leeds United, and Sunderland have joined from the Championship. In his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/alan-shearer-pre\u2026ague-predictions\/\">Premier League predictions<\/a>, Alan Shearer predicted all three will return to the second division in May.<\/p>\n<p>Sunderland and Leeds United have shown that they have the quality to prove Shearer wrong, as they sit a good few points away from the drop zone. The Clarets are currently on a three-game winless run, with their last victory coming against Sunderland on 23 August. Manager Scott Parker, however, has assured that Beyer&#8217;s recovery is going well.<\/p>\n<p>Despite having a near-full squad, the Clarets may not be at their strongest at Turf Moor on Tuesday.
