This week sees the biggest golf team tournament getting underway – with this year’s event at Bethpage Black Course in New York, USA. But just who is favourite to win the Ryder Cup 2025 as team USA and Europe lock horns for three days of high-class action?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ryder Cup Odds 2025: USA Favourites To Win On Home Soil\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When it comes to most sports, having home advantage is often a huge advantage and this theory also applies to the Ryder Cup.<\/p>\n

This event is played every two years in either the USA or a part of Europe and when hosted in one of the team’s homeland – this is often reflected in the odds with the golf betting sites.<\/p>\n

Last time in 2023, when Italy entertained, Europe powered to an easy 16 1\/2 – 11 1\/2 win.<\/p>\n

While in 2021, team USA won cruised to a 19-9 win at Whistling Straits, US.<\/p>\n

In fact, ALL of the last five Ryder Cups have been won by the home team, which is one of the big reasons why team USA are favourites to win the 2025 Ryder Cup at 4\/6 before a ball has been hit.<\/p>\n

At these odds, the layers are giving USA a 60% chance of winning.<\/p>\n

With team Europe on offer at 7\/4 and a tie on the table at 12\/1 – the last time we saw a Ryder Cup tie was in 1989. But Europe retained the title as the current holders at the time.<\/p>\n

However, once the action gets going on Friday (26th Sept) the outright Ryder Cup betting odds will be chopping and changing by the minute based on how each team is doing.<\/p>\n

Europe Have Won Eight Of The Last Eleven Ryder Cups<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Despite USA being the 2025 Ryder Cup favourites in the betting – it’s worth noting that Europe have by-far the best recent record.<\/p>\n

Team Europe have won EIGHT of the last 11 Ryder Cups and five of the last seven.<\/p>\n

Their last win, however, on US soil was in 2012, at the Medinah Country Club, Illinois (watch below).<\/p>\n
