The 2025 Swiss Darts Trophy takes place in Basel this week in what is the 13th European Tour (ET13) tournament of year. But just who is in action?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The full field and line-up has been revealed for the 2025 Swiss Darts Trophy, with 16 of the world’s best PDC players taking to the oche this weekend alongside Pro Tour Order of Merit qualifiers and 16 other qualifiers too.<\/p>\n

Swiss Darts Trophy Full Field Revealed<\/h2>\n

The PDC heads to Switzerland for the 13th European Tour event of the season just one week after Niko Springer reigned supreme at the Hungarian Darts Trophy in Budapest as a huge underdog.<\/p>\n

That was the case 12 months ago at the Swiss Darts Trophy too, with Martin Schindler defeating Ryan Searle 8-7 in the final. This tournament looks wide open as we head to Basel for ET13 – the penultimate European Tour event of the year.<\/p>\n

World number one Luke Humphries\u00a0is favourite with UK betting sites to claim victory this weekend in Budapest. However, the likes of Josh Rock, Gian van Veen, Chris Dobey and Stephen Bunting are also in action and amongst the favourites.<\/p>\n

A total of 48 players are in the Swiss Darts Trophy field this week. This consists of 16 seeded players, 16 Pro Tour Order of Merit qualifiers, 10 Tour Card qualifiers, four Host National qualifiers, one Nordic\/Baltic qualifier and one East European qualifier.<\/p>\n

As previously mentioned, the likes of world number one Humphries, the in-form Rock and Welsh star Price are just some of the big names in action at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel this weekend.<\/p>\n

Reigning world champion ‘The Nuke’ doesn’t feature this week though. There were plenty of Luke Littler retirement rumours<\/a> last week after his cryptic social media post, but that isn’t the case. He might just be playing the new EAFC26 Xbox game instead!<\/p>\n

Although not a major PDC title, there is still some lucrative prize money up for grabs and the chance of adding more silverware to the cabinet. So, who will reign in Switzerland at the 2025 Swiss Darts Trophy?<\/p>\n

PDC Order Of Merit Line-Up<\/h3>\n

There are some notable omissions from the Swiss Dart Trophy this year. None more so than Luke Littler, who has opted against the trip to Basel this weekend.<\/p>\n

Littler passed his driving theory test at the seventh attempt<\/a> last week, so might still be celebrating that achievement back home with his family and friends in England.<\/p>\n

Michael van Gerwen has also decided to swerve ET13 this weekend. As has Gerwyn Price, who is still recovering from illness having withdrawn from last week’s Hungarian Darts Trophy.<\/p>\n
