Several greens and fairways at Bethpage Black have been flooded with golf fans fearing the 2025 Ryder Cup will get postponed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After torrential rainfall in New York, several greens and fairways have been flooded less than 24 hours before the 45th Ryder Cup gets underway.<\/p>\n

Will The 2025 Ryder Cup Get Postponed?<\/h2>\n

As the 45th Ryder Cup edges closer at Bethpage Black, fans are at fever-pitch over the biennial golf event between USA and Europe.<\/p>\n

This year, Keegan Bradley captains the US side with Luke Donald serving a second term as the European captain.<\/p>\n

It’s been 13 years since Europe last won the Ryder Cup in America<\/a>, with Donald a co hoping to replicate the ‘Miracle of Medinah’ from 2012.<\/p>\n

With the Ryder Cup 2025 now less than 24 hours away, fans are ready for a truly epic three days of golf action at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York.<\/p>\n

However, the Ryder Cup could be in doubt now due to torrential rainfall in the Bethpage area. Severe thunderstorms and heavy rain has caused several greens, fairways and bunkers to flood at Bethpage Black.<\/p>\n

There is no chance of the Ryder Cup being cancelled, but postponing the event is a genuine possibility after this extreme rainfall.<\/p>\n

This year’s Ryder Cup venue<\/a> is one of the toughest golf courses in all of the US. It is an extremely long golf course, which could prove even trickier now with soft fairways and less run on the ball.<\/p>\n

That being said, a softer golf course generally means it’s easier for the world’s best players. If that’s the case, then we could be in for an incredibly high standard of golf at the Ryder Cup 2025 over the course of the next three days.<\/p>\n
