The #6 ranked 205-pound contender has shared the octagon with Pereira once before, so knows first-hand what it’s like to face ‘Poatan’.<\/p>\n

Jamahal Hill Gives UFC 320 Prediction For Magomed Ankalaev vs Alex Pereira Rematch<\/h2>\n

Jamahal Hill is a man who knows a thing or two when it comes to MMA. The former UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion has been king of the division once before, as well as sharing the octagon with several world-class fighters.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old doesn’t feature on this UFC 320 fight card<\/a>, but was in action at the last pay-per-view event at UFC 319.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for the former 205-pound king, his form is extremely poor. Since becoming champion, Hill has lost his last three fights in succession. First he lost the belt to Alex Pereira, before then losing to Jiri Prochazka and most recently Khalil Rountree.<\/p>\n

Having shared the octagon with Pereira before, Hill’s insight into the upcoming Ankalaev vs Pereira rematch comes first hand. He knows what it’s like to face ‘Poatan’, so is well versed to provide an accurate prediction on the fight.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, ‘Sweet Dreams’ has weighed-in with his pre-fight UFC 320 prediction for Saturday’s PPV show at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Magomed Ankalaev vs Alex Pereira 2 headlines UFC 320, with Jill finding it difficult to pick a winner. The American has made a case for both men, but has struggled to give a conclusive prediction for the bout.<\/p>\n

Although Hill feels Ankalaev is world class and a game opponent, he feels that Pereira is an incredibly smart fighter and the outcome of the contest will be down to the adjustments the Brazilian makes.<\/p>\n

The American was asked by MMA media at one of the UFC 319 pre-fight press conferences his thoughts on the match-up, and how he sees the UFC Light-Heavyweight Title battle going down on October 4:<\/p>\n

“It’s a good fight. I believe it will be a lot more competitive than the first time around,”<\/em> revealed the #6 ranked UFC light-heavyweight contender.<\/p>\n

“I believe that Alex [Pereira] is a smart fighter, I believe he does make good adjustments. He’s always grinding, he’s always working. But the same can be said for Ankalalev.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Ankalaev is a grinder, he’s a very game opponent but I believe it’s all going to come down to adjustments that Alex makes. The important thing is on Alex to make adjustments and we’re going to see if he can make then,”<\/em> concluded the former UFC Light-Heavyweight Title holder.<\/p>\n
