However, if Bayern fail to deliver then this could easily open Kane’s mind to heading elsewhere – with Manchester United the favourites to be his next club, according to the betting experts.

Could Harry Kane’s Bayern Future Depend On How They Fare In The Champions League?

Bayern Munich are currently top of the Bundesliga and long odds-on to successfully defend their title.

But you feel the Champions League is their big aim as they look to win the competition for the first time since 2020.

A win here and this will surely cement Kane’s future at Bayern for a bit longer – but a poor campaign and this could sway the England striker to re-think his options for next season.

Bayern are around 9/1 to win Europe’s biggest club event, with PSG and Arsenal heading the market.

Kane has scored over 100 goals for Bayern Munich already in his spell at the German giants and won the Bundesliga title with them last season (2024-25).

Which was also Harry Kane’s first honours as a player.

While his goals in the German top-flight have also been responsible for helping the Bundesliga win over the neutrals.

There are now an average of 3.6 goals per game in the German league, thanks to Kane’s strikes.

<iframe title="Harry Kane insists he is in no rush to return to the Premier League | Back Pages Tonight" Kane

With Harry Kane having made his name at Tottenham between 2009 and 2023, with over 300 appearances and 213 Premier League goals – then a return to the North London club has, of course, been talked about too.

The good news for Spurs fans wishing for a Kane return is that when they sold him to Bayern Munich, they added a release clause to give them first refusal on resigning him.

This would have allowed him to rejoin them for £67m in January 2025 and drops to £54m in January 2026.

It’s understood that if and when Harry Kane decides to move on, Tottenham have first refusal – but this doesn’t mean Kane will go back there.

Yes, Spurs will have first option and can put in a first bid – but it’s still up to Kane to decide.

Tottenham are priced at 8/1 in the Harry Kane next club betting odds market – meaning the experts feel a return is less likely.

Harry Kane Rules Out MLS Move Until Later In His Career

Despite any MLS club being just 5/1 in the Harry Kane next club betting odds market, the striker has all but ruled out a move to the US at the moment.

Kane, who is 32, has recently said, a switch to the MLS, to join the likes of Lionel Messi won’t happen now – but could during the more later stages of his career.

He recently went on record as saying a move now to the MLS is “too early” in his career.

But didn’t rule out a switch to the US later down the line – adding this is on his radar for the last couple of years of his career.

How Many Goals Does Harry Kane Need For The Premier League Record?

One sub-plot to any future Harry Kane transfer is the much talked about Premier League all-time goal scoring record.

Alan Shearer will probably be secretly hoping Kane never returns to the English top-flight as the fellow England hitman is topping the table with 260 goals.

But Kane is not far off, with 213 Premier League goals – meaning he’s 47 behind, which would take him probably two-three more seasons to reach.

Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is third in the table with 208 – with Kane overtaking him during his last season at Tottenham.

<i class="sui sui-check-circle-o"
