Lightweight #1 contender Arman Tsarukyan has given his UFC Rio pre-fight prediction for the Charles Oliveira vs Mateusz Gamrot main event this weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Armenian MMA phenom has shared the octagon with both Oliveira and Gamrot, so he knows first hand what both UFC Rio main event combatants are capable of.<\/p>\n

Arman Tsarukyan has shared the octagon with both Charles Oliveira and Mateusz Gamrot. So, what better man to give a pre-fight UFC Rio prediction?<\/p>\n

The #1 lightweight contender shared the cage with Gamrot first back in June 2022, before then facing Oliveira in his last contest at UFC 300 last April.<\/p>\n

Armenia’s MMA superstar was beaten by Gamrot via decision over five rounds, before then beating ‘Do Bronx’ in his last fight via split decision over three rounds.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old is currently #14 in the latest UFC pound-for-pound rankings<\/a>, and is current preparing for a showdown with Dan Hooker on November 22nd.<\/p>\n

Although he is preparing for his UFC Fight Night main event next month, Tsarukyan has weighed-in with his Oliveira vs Gamrot prediction for the UFC Rio main event.<\/p>\n

Gamrot took this fight on just three weeks notice, with Oliveira also forced to change his preparations from Rafael Fiziev to ‘The Polish Eagle.<\/p>\n
