Andrew Robertson was voted the worst player on the pitch for Liverpool in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup defeat to Crystal Palace – despite having played more times for the Reds than most of his teammates combined.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was a night to forget for Arne Slot’s Liverpool, and especially for Andrew Robertson.<\/p>\n

The Scotland international had a torrid time against Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n

Playing on the left of a back three, Robertson was exposed badly, as the veteran was run ragged by a ruthless Palace attack.<\/p>\n

Two goals from Ismaila Sarr on the stroke of half time put the visitors in firm control, before Yeremy Pino sealed the victory with a third two minutes from full time.<\/p>\n

It leaves Liverpool having lost six of their last seven in all competitions.<\/p>\n

Now out of the EFL Cup and having sunk to seventh in the Premier League, Arne Slot is facing serious question marks for the first time in his short tenure.<\/p>\n
