Global horse racing fans are locking themselves in for the 42nd<\/sup> Breeders\u2019 Cup this weekend with the two-day meeting getting going on Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are FIVE races on day one and you can see Andy Newton\u2019s Breeders\u2019 Cup horse racing tips for each juvenile contest as we get a chance to see some of the stars of the future. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Breeders\u2019 Cup Tips 2025: Andy Newton’s Del Mar Best Bets On Friday<\/strong><\/h2>\n

9:45 – Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (Grade 1) (2yo) (Turf) (2yo) 5f SKY<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There are three Aidan O\u2019Brien Breeders\u2019 Cup runners<\/a> here in True Love, Brussels and Mission Central \u2013 in a race Ballydoyle are yet to win.<\/p>\n

Queen Mary winner TRUE LOVE<\/strong> is the expected favourite and it\u2019s easy to see why after having a fantastic juvenile season \u2013 winning three and placed second three times, from her six starts.<\/p>\n

She looks the best option of the O\u2019Brien three, with Brussels clearly having ability, but has a frustrating profile with and hasn\u2019t won since debut.<\/p>\n

While despite Mission Central winning last time on Champions Day at Ascot \u2013 that came over 6f and I\u2019m not sure the drop back to 5f on this fast track is ideal.<\/p>\n

True Love has reportedly settled in well at Del Mar too and been working nicely on the track.<\/p>\n

Three Winners From Gate 9 Since 2016<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Draw 9 might not look 100% ideal, but we’ve actually seen three winners from this gate since 2016.<\/p>\n

So, this No Nay Never filly is taken to add to her recent Cheveley Park Stakes win (watch below) and give O’Brien his first success in this Breeders’ Cup race.<\/p>\n

Of the home-trained runners, the Wesley Ward entry Schwarzenegger<\/strong>\u00a0looks their main hope after winning a Listed race over 5 1\/2f last time and will be better with half a furlong less to go, after just clinging on at the wire.<\/p>\n

The Ward yard also have a top record in this race \u2013 winning 50% of the last six renewals \u2013 and are also the winning-most stable in this opening Breeders\u2019 Cup contest.<\/p>\n

Schwarzenegger, who is a lot less exposed than the O\u2019Brien runners, should have more to come too and is taken to pack some ‘muscle’ here with veteran rider John R Velazquez in the plate.<\/p>\n

Cy Fair is also respected for the George Weaver barn with jockey Irad Ortiz Jr having a top record in the race – three wins since 2019.<\/p>\n
