The feud between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall continues, with Jones now labelling the UFC Heavyweight Champion ‘incredibly overrated’ following his UFC 321 bout with Ciryl Gane.<\/b><\/p>\n
Jones feels that Gane was well on top and beating Aspinall up, before the fight was called a no contest due to Aspinall being unable to continue following a deep eye poke from the challenger.<\/span><\/p>\n Although the Tom Aspinall vs Ciryl Gane fight in the UFC 321 main event only lasted less than one round, Jon Jones feels he has seen enough to make a fairly brutal assessment of Aspinall’s ability.<\/span><\/p>\n All of <\/span>Tom Aspinall’s stats<\/span><\/a> pointed towards a routine victory over the French challenger, but the opening round certainly didn’t play out that way with Gane instead on top and on his way to winning the first round.<\/span><\/p>\n Then of course came the fight-ending eye poke, with the bout being called a no contest. However, MMA legend Jones feels he saw more than enough to know that the English MMA star perhaps isn’t all he has been hyped up to be.<\/span><\/p>\n Jones has labelled Aspinall as ‘incredibly overrated’ and that he has so many holes in his game.
