George Liddard is set to defend his British and Commonwealth middleweight titles against former Lonsdale belt holder Brad Pauls in early 2026.<\/b><\/p>\n
Liddard became British and Commonwealth champion at 160-pounds after stopping Kieron Conway last time out, and is set for the first defence of his belts against Pauls.<\/span><\/p>\n George Liddard vs Brad Pauls is being targeted for early 2026, according to <\/span>SportsCasting<\/span><\/i> sources.<\/span><\/p>\n After defeating Kieron Conway last time out to become the youngest British champion in history, Liddard is set to defend his British and Commonwealth middleweight titles against Pauls in the first quarter of next year.<\/span><\/p>\n Pauls, who is scheduled to face Michal Chludil in a six-rounder on November 22, formerly held the Lonsdale belt at 160-pounds, which is now in possession of Liddard.<\/span><\/p>\n Provided Pauls gets through his six-rounder later this month unscathed, ‘The Newquay Bomb’ will have the chance at becoming a two-time British champion. The 32-year-old will also have the opportunity to win the Commonwealth belt, which he is yet to do so far in his 23-fight pro career.<\/span><\/p>\n After losing his British title to Denzel Bentley back in December 2024, Pauls bounced back with a points win over journeyman Omir Rodriguez in May.
