As we move into day two of the November Meeting at Prestbury Park, we’ve more Andy Newton Cheltenham horse racing tips – covering the FOUR live ITV races on Saturday.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cheltenham Horse Racing Tips On Saturday 15th Nov: ITV Racing Best Bets From Day Two Of November Meeting<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Sportscasting horse racing pundit and regular pundit on the Final Furlong Podcast<\/a> Andy Newton continues with his Cheltenham horse racing tips on Saturday.<\/p>\n

There are four LIVE ITV Racing<\/a> contests that start again at 1:45pm. With the Paddy Power Gold Cup the main event at 2:20pm.<\/p>\n

Last year’s winner Il Ridoto will be looking to be the first ‘back-to-back’<\/em> winner since Bradbury Star, who won in 1993-94.<\/p>\n

And, after several placed finishes in the race, Dan Skelton is hunting his first win in the Paddy Power Gold Cup.<\/p>\n

But he’s got three live chances with Panic Attack, Hoe Joly Smoke and Riskintheground.<\/p>\n

1:45 Cheltenham \u2013 Paddy Power Arkle Challenge Trophy Trial Novices\u2019 Chase (Grade 2) Cl1 (4yo+) 2m ITV<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Some good horses have won this over the years, including Friday’s Shloer Chase winner L’Eau du Sud (2024) and Put The Kettle On in 2019.<\/p>\n

With the last-named the most recent horse to take this and go onto land the Arkle at the Festival in 2019\/20.<\/p>\n

All of the last ten winners of this race were aged five or six.<\/p>\n

So these could be a negative for the four year-old Stencil, Brentford Hope at eight and Breaking Cover, who is seven.<\/p>\n

Last year’s Greatwood Hurdle first and second Burdett Road and Be Aware could be nice recruits to the chasing game.<\/p>\n

Be Aware won the same race at Stratford that his stablemate L’Eau du Sud did before taking this.<\/p>\n

Burdett Road was runner-up in that dramatic Champion Hurdle and makes his chase debut here.<\/p>\n

His Cheltenham record is solid 1-2-1-2 but we don’t know how he’s going to take to a fence.<\/p>\n

So the safer call is JULY FLOWER<\/strong>, who impressed at Limerick over fences last time (11 lengths). See below.<\/p>\n

Plus was fifth to possible Champion Hurdle runner Lossiemouth<\/a> in the Mares’ Hurdle at the Festival back in March.<\/p>\n

Oh, the final plus is she’s trained by Henry De Bromhead, who looked after the already mentioned Put The Kettle On.<\/p>\n
