\u2018Canelo\u2019 has been an ever-present in the P4P top 10, but has officially fallen outside of the rankings for the first time since 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n Saul \u2018Canelo\u2019 Alvarez is widely regarded as one of the best fighters of the 21st century.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Having been at the top of his game for over a decade, the Mexican has sat at the top of the <\/span>boxing pound-for-pound rankings<\/span><\/a> for a lengthy period.<\/span><\/p>\n The last time \u2018Canelo\u2019 dropped out of the P4P top 10 was back in 2018. The reason for this wasn\u2019t to do with Canelo\u2019s performances inside the ring, rather for testing positive for banned substance clenbuterol.<\/span><\/p>\n If it wasn\u2019t for this failed drugs test, the four-weight world champion would have held his position in the pound-for-pound rankings for over a decade.<\/span><\/p>\n The Mexican first entered the top 10 of the P4P list way back in 2013. Bar his minor absence from the list in 2018 due to his PED ban, the 35-year-old has been recognised as one of the world\u2019s best fighters across all weight classes ever since.<\/span><\/p>\n That was until November 2025, when the great \u2018Canelo\u2019 dropped out of the boxing pound-for-pound rankings.
