Some Reds fans have been calling for Slot to get sacked following their humbling 4-1 Champions League defeat at home to PSV Eindhoven.

Arne Slot could have just three games to save his job as Liverpool’s drastic form continues.

The Reds were defeated 4-1 at home by Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night in the Champions League, with some Liverpool fans calling for Slot’s sacking after their latest Anfield humiliation.

The Premier League champions have now lost three on the spin, conceding at least three goals in each game including two heavy defeats on their own patch. Given their terrible form, it’s fair to say the pressure is mounting on Slot.

Liverpool currently sit in 12th place in the Premier League, just seven points above the relegation zone. Despite breaking their transfer record in the summer and spending big on players like Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, the Reds are really struggling.

With three Premier League games before their next European fixture against Inter, Slot simply must stop the rot and get back to winning ways immediately. If not, then the Dutchman won’t be at Anfield come the New Year.

Liverpool’s next three games are against West Ham, Sunderland and Leeds in England’s top flight. Two of those are away from home against relegation-threatened sides, meaning they are simply a must-win.

Realistically Slot has to win all three games to save his job. Lose even one and Liverpool could be forced to act before the January transfer window.

🗣️ Ruud Gullit on Arne Slot's position at Liverpool: "I'm afraid that the club will take a decision. He's a nice guy and a good coach.

But if you spend so much money and it doesn't work, and you can't turn it around, well, it only gets worse." pic.twitter.com/iZAwkWEl4Z

— Football Tweet ⚽ (@Football__Tweet) November 26, 2025

Arne Slot Has Three Games To Save His Job As Liverpool Boss
