Arsenal have secured a double transfer swoop for Ecuadorian twins Edwin and Holger Quintero ahead of next month’s January window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The club have agreed a deal in principle to sign the pair from Independiente Del Valle, once they turn 18 in 2027.<\/p>\n

The Quintero brothers, currently 16, are in London this week in order to confirm the moves.<\/p>\n

No formal announcement is expected yet, but they will sign contracts and complete other formalities.<\/p>\n

Latest Arsenal Transfer News Continues Youth Policy<\/h2>\n

No fee has been confirmed for Arsenal’s latest double transfer move.<\/p>\n

But the decision to lock in a future deal for two exciting young talents continues the Gunners’ recent tactic of trying to recruit the best young talents from around the world.<\/p>\n

In October, Arsenal signed 16-year-old Victor Ozhianvuna from Shamrock Rovers.<\/p>\n

The Irish midfielder will join in January 2027, once he too turns 18.<\/p>\n

Edwin and Holger Quintero won’t be the first Independiente players to earn Premier League moves.<\/p>\n

The Sangolqu\u00ed side is considered one of the top talent factories in the Ecuadorian Serie A.<\/p>\n

Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo\u00a0and current Arsenal defender Piero Hincapi\u00e9, both came through the ranks at the club.<\/p>\n

His brother, meanwhile, is an attacking midfielder than has also shown plenty of promise.<\/p>\n

The double deal has been viewed by many as a serious coup for Arsenal’s academy.<\/p>\n

And with Dowman, Nwaneri and other producing top-level displays for the first team already, the club have shown a clear pathway for young talent to progress through the age groups.<\/p>\n

Dowman’s goal against Bayern Munich<\/strong><\/a> in the UEFA Youth League was another reminder of how strong the club’s academy has become.<\/p>\n
