Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson would prefer to join Manchester City over Manchester United next summer.<\/b><\/p>\n
The in-form England midfielder is contracted at the City Ground until 2029, but has attracted attention from several Premier League top six clubs.<\/span><\/p>\n Elliot Anderson has informed his representatives that he would prefer to sign for Manchester City this summer over Manchester United.<\/span><\/p>\n That\u2019s according to transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who is reporting that the Nottingham Forest midfielder would much rather move to the Etihad over Old Trafford if he was to leave his current employers.<\/span><\/p>\n Although Anderson is contracted at the City Ground until 2029, a whole host of clubs are reportedly interested in signing the 23-year-old midfielder.<\/span><\/p>\n Both major Manchester clubs are said to be just two of the several interested parties in securing Anderson\u2019s signature, with the in-form midfielder high on a number of club\u2019s shopping lists.<\/span><\/p>\n United are already pursuing free <\/span>Bayern Munich star Dayot Upamecano<\/span><\/a> alongside Liverpool, and now look to have their sky blue rivals to deal with in their pursuit of Forest\u2019s Anderson too.<\/span><\/p>\n Ruben Amorim\u2019s current midfield is certainly an aging one, with Anderson a perfect fit on paper.
