Katie Taylor has confirmed that she is \u2018very open\u2019 to the idea of fighting ex-UFC champion Ronda Rousey.<\/b><\/p>\n
Rumours are circulating that Rousey is debating a move to boxing, with a potential fight against Taylor already being negotiated.<\/span><\/p>\n Women\u2019s boxing trailblazer Katie Taylor has confirmed that she is \u2018very open\u2019 to a fight with ex-UFC champion Ronda Rousey in the boxing ring.<\/span><\/p>\n Taylor was last seen defeating bitter rival Amanda Serrano in their trilogy bout on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson undercard, which saw viewership of over 6,000,000 streams.<\/span><\/p>\n Rousey on the other hand was last seen competing in the UFC way back in 2016, but has enjoyed success in WWE since retiring from MMA almost a decade ago.<\/span><\/p>\n Rousey has been seen ramping up training once again in recent weeks, sparking debate over who she would face on her return and in what combat sport discipline. It seems that Rousey is toying with the idea of boxing, with Taylor firmly in her sights.<\/span><\/p>\n The Irish boxing star has nothing left to prove in boxing, with <\/span>Taylor\u2019s husband Sean McCavanagh<\/span><\/a> perhaps even hoping his wife would retire so the pair could spend more time together.<\/span><\/p>\n However, it has been revealed this week that talks over a potential summer showdown between Taylor and Rousey are well underway.
