Manchester United have a battle on their hands are they look to ward off interest in wonderkid JJ Gabriel from Spanish giants Barcelona.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Barca often struggle to keep their top talents at their famous La Masia academy.<\/p>\n

But it looks like one starlet may soon be moving in the other direction.<\/p>\n

Fifteen-year-old Manchester United academy forward JJ Gabriel has been attracting a lot of attention.<\/p>\n

He signed for United aged 10, and has become a feature of the under-18 side at Carrington.<\/p>\n

Gabriel has shown such promise that United boss Rubem Amorim recently invited the youngster to train with the senior squad.<\/p>\n

Long regarded as one of the brightest prospects to come through United’s academy in recent years, the England under-16 international is already a familiar name to some.<\/p>\n

But his recent scoring exploits for United’s under-18s have attracted major attention.<\/p>\n

Gabriel bagged a hat-trick against Liverpool under-18s, and now has ten goals in as many appearances for United’s age-grade side this campaign.<\/p>\n

As a result, Barcelona have made signing the prodigal talent one of their top academy targets.<\/p>\n
