It’s another blow for Wolves as manager Rob Edwards issued further worrying injury news ahead of Monday’s clash with Manchester United.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This season could not be going much worse so far for Wolves.<\/p>\n

Rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, they have picked up just two points from 14 games.<\/p>\n

And things show no sign of improvement, having lost their last eight in all competitions.<\/p>\n

Injuries have hampered an already difficult campaign.<\/p>\n

Fullback Matt Doherty has missed Wolves’ last three, Rodrigo Gomes remains out for the long-term, and Ladislav Krejci has picked up a knee problem.<\/p>\n

With manager Rob Edwards under pressure from the moment he arrived, reinforcements are clearly needed.<\/p>\n

Wolves’ January transfer targets<\/strong><\/a> list is a long one, but keeping the players they already have fit is proving impossible.<\/p>\n

And ahead of their next fixture, Edwards has confirmed yet another blow.<\/p>\n

Wolves Injury News Another Blow For Rob Edwards<\/h2>\n

On Wednesday, Marshall Munetsi was brought on five minutes from time against Nottingham Forest.<\/p>\n

But the Zimbabwean midfielder hobbled off injured just minutes later.<\/p>\n

With no substitutes remaining, Rob Edwards’ side were forced to see out the 1-0 home defeat with 10 men.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Wolves host Manchester United at Molineux.<\/p>\n

And Edwards has issued a worrying injury update, with Munetsi a major doubt.<\/p>\n

“We think he’s pulled his calf, but we don’t know the full details yet,” said the manager.<\/p>\n

But it appears that Munetsi will struggle to be fit in time for the United clash.<\/p>\n

As a result, Wolves will be severely limited in terms of midfield cover.<\/p>\n

Wolves’ Midfield Options Are Already Severely Limited<\/h2>\n

As well as Munetsi, Wolves will also be without the suspended Joao Gomes.<\/p>\n

With Ladislav Krejci not yet fully fit, who can Rob Edwards turn to?<\/p>\n

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is the only true midfielder available, meaning Wolves may be forced to deploy defender Emmanuel Agbadou in the middle once again.<\/p>\n

The Ivorian did grab two assists last time he played there, but it’s far from his natural position.<\/p>\n
