commentator John Hunt and his family &#8211; which is the feature event at the two-day December Meeting this week.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>December Gold Cup Renamed In Honour Of Commentator John Hunt and Family<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This Saturday&#8217;s December Gold Cup will be called the <strong>Support The Hunt Family Fund December Gold Cup.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With the race being shown live at 1:50pm on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/itv-racing-schedule-today\/\">ITV Racing schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A move by the racecourse to back the family fund that has been set up by John and his daughter Amy after the commentator&#8217;s wife Carol and other daughters Hannah and Louise Hunt were all tragically killed in July 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Hunt Family Fund &#8211; as their strap-line says &#8211; is there to help and support inspiring young women via various charities.<\/p>\n<p>You can scan the QR code in the image below to make donations and also get involve in the bidding for many top sporting events and prizes.<\/p>\n<p>Including a 12 month racehorse ownership syndicate to the Legacy Racing Club.<\/p>\n<p>And also a lunch with racing legends and
