{"id":72721,"date":"2025-12-09T16:40:42","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T16:40:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/?p=72721"},"modified":"2025-12-09T16:42:49","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T16:42:49","slug":"inter-milan-shirt-sponsor-betsson-nets-another-sporting-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/inter-milan-shirt-sponsor-betsson-nets-another-sporting-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Inter Milan Shirt Sponsor Betsson Nets Another Sporting Deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Betsson Group has netted another sports sponsorship deal in what has been a strong second half to 2025 for the sportsbook and casino giant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The shirt sponsor of Italian club Inter Milan announced a year-on-year revenue increase of 12% in its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betssonab.com\/investors\/reports-and-presentations\/betsson-ab-interim-report-january-september-2025\">interim report for January to September 2025<\/a> and confirmed it was actively pursuing further partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSports is a very good way of marketing the brand, and it goes for both casino and sports,\u201d said President and CEO Pontus Lindwall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most clear example of that is what we can see now in Italy, where we do a very strong sports and very sports-oriented sponsorship with Inter, but still we see the casino marching on.<\/p>\n<h2>Betsson And Inter Milan<\/h2>\n<p>Last season Inter Milan charged to the Champions League final in May carrying the Betsson name with them.<\/p>\n<p>Having been drawn as the &#8216;away&#8217; Image: Hannah Mckay, Reuters via Imagn Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Signing an initial agreement to be shirt sponsor in June 2023, the <a href=\"https:\/\/betssongroup.com\/news\/betsson-and-boca-juniors-announce-renewal\/\">Betsson deal with Boca \u00a0was renewed<\/a> at the start of this year and will run through to December 2028.<\/p>\n<p>Belgium\u2019s Club Brugge agreed a three-year deal with Betsson in the summer for Swedish firm to become its new official partner, an alliance that included front -of-shirt branding,<\/p>\n<p>Racing Club of Argentina also boosted an existing deal at the start of 2025, promoting the Betsson name from the upper back of their shirts to front and centre.<\/p>\n<h2>Betsson Brand In Other Sports<\/h2>\n<p>Betsson has been beefing up its sporting connections, particularly in Greece.<\/p>\n<p>At the start of this week, the sportsbook revealed it had become the naming partner and major <a href=\"https:\/\/betssongroup.com\/news\/peristeri-betsson-bc\/\">sponsor of Athens-based basketball club Peristeri<\/a> FC.<\/p>\n<p>Basketball is second only to football in terms of popularity in the country and since 2023 Betsson has been the naming sponsor for AEK Athens, who presently play as AEK Betsson.<\/p>\n<p>The firm showed the strength of its support by becoming grand sponsor of the Basketball Champions League Final Four, played in Athens in May.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_72739\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-72739\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-72739 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/Peristeri-1-560x373.jpg\" alt=\"Betsson and Peristeri\" width=\"560\" height=\"373\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/Peristeri-1-560x373.jpg 560w, https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/Peristeri-1-924x616.jpg 924w, https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/Peristeri-1-350x233.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/Peristeri-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/Peristeri-1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-72739\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Betsson is the new shirt and name sponsor for Greek basketball club Peresteri<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hailing the latest deal, Commercial Director Andreas Nikolopoulos said: \u201cIt is a great pleasure for all of us at Betsson to stand alongside a club with such a strong history and identity as Peristeri, a club that has been a reference point in Greek basketball for decades and continues to grow thanks to the steady and methodical work of its management.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is one of several new collaborations the firm has brokered during the final quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In October it emerged as the naming partner and main sponsor of Panionios women\u2019s volleyball team in Greece.<\/p>\n<p>November saw Betsson become back of shirt sponsors for Iraklis Thessalonikis, one of Greece\u2019s oldest established clubs.<\/p>\n<p>Also last month, Betsson renewed its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betssongroup.com\/betsson-continues-as-main-partner-of-the-bnp-paribas-nordic-open\/\">partnership with the BNP Paribas Nordic Open<\/a>, the world\u2019s oldest indoor ATP event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Betsson Group has netted another sports sponsorship deal in what has been a strong second half to 2025 for the sportsbook and casino giant.
