Mohamed Salah has seemingly left a parting message to supporters as he leaves Liverpool and heads to the African Cup of Nations.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Egyptian and Reds boss Arne Slot buried the hatchet following his explosive interview after coming off the bench in the victory over Brighton at the weekend.<\/p>\n

It will do little to quell the rumours that he could depart Anfield next month, with a transfer to Saudi Arabia<\/a> a possibility.<\/p>\n

Now he’s added fuel to the fire with a less-than-subtle reminder of his achievements with the club.<\/p>\n

Mo Salah leaves a Liverpool parting message<\/h2>\n

Taking to Twitter, Salah uploaded an infographic which further cemented his reputation as a Liverpool legend.<\/p>\n

The graphic shows the Premier League top goals and assists records for players at a single club.<\/p>\n

Salah sits at the top of the chart with 277, one ahead of former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.<\/p>\n

He’s scored 188 league goals for the Reds since joining the club in 2017.<\/p>\n

United’s Ryan Giggs is six back on 271, ahead of Harry Kane (259) and Arsenal’s Thierry Henry (249).<\/p>\n

Frank Lampard (237), Sergio Aguero (231) and Steven Gerrard (212) make up the rest of the top eight.<\/p>\n

The timing of the social media post will raise eyebrows, with question marks over whether Salah has played his final game for Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Only Salah will know the intentions of his initial interview, in which he claimed he had been made a scapegoat for the club’s drop in form this season and his lack of relationship with the manager.<\/p>\n

It raised speculation as to whether Salah was looking to engineer a move away from the club, while other suggestions included an attempt to isolate Slot to get him the sack.<\/p>\n

There were no obvious goodbye waves to supporters at Anfield on Saturday, but he was embraced by his team-mates after a challenging week.<\/p>\n
