Sunday Transfer Rumours Roundup<\/h2>\n

Antoine Semenyo Prefers Manchester City<\/h3>\n

Antoine Semenyo is edging closer to his Bournemouth exit as he runs the rule over all of his potential suitors ahead of a January move.<\/p>\n

The Ghanaian forward has a \u00a365million release clause, which is active for the first two weeks of the upcoming transfer window.<\/p>\n

Numerous clubs have shown an interest with Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea, all reportedly eager on his availability.<\/p>\n

It appears Pep Guardiola’s side are the current favourite<\/a> for his next destination.<\/p>\n

Football Insider claims Liverpool have pushed hard in recent weeks, but Semenyo has already held talks with Man City chiefs and is likely to make the switch with the prospect of doubling his wages.<\/p>\n

Semenyo has scored nine goals in 17 Premier League matches this season.<\/p>\n

Tottenham’s Transfer Warchest<\/h3>\n

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank will have a much-needed transfer kitty worth up to \u00a3150million to spend in the January window.<\/p>\n

The Sun write that the under-pressure manager will have the opportunity to put his stamp on the squad.<\/p>\n

Frank is the current favourite to be the next manager to lose his job in the Premier League sack race<\/a> as they languish in 14th.<\/p>\n

Semenyo was on their list, but the player has reportedly rebuffed their approach.<\/p>\n

However, his expected move to Manchester City could allow Savinho to leave the Etihad. Tottenham explored the possibility of signing the forward in the summer and could reignite their interest.<\/p>\n

Spurs could also look for a striker with Porto’s Samu Aghehowa an option, while a left-back is also high on the priority list.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace Join Strand Larsen Chase<\/h3>\n

Crystal Palace are looking to bolster their attacking options with the signing of Wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen.<\/p>\n

The Eagles face competition from West Ham<\/a> for the striker who is set to leave the rock-bottom Premier League strugglers next month.<\/p>\n

Strand Larsen\u2019s stock rose last campaign when he scored 14 Premier League goals, but he\u2019s struggled to replicate those numbers amid Wolves\u2019 abysmal form.<\/p>\n

Oliver Glasner wants a new frontman to help deal with the demands of their hectic European fixture schedule.<\/p>\n

Jean-Philippe Mateta has carried the burden as the club’s main man in attack this season, having already played in 28 matches across all competitions.<\/p>\n

Strand Larsen would provide quality competition, particularly if he can rediscover the same form he showed last season.<\/p>\n

He only signed a new deal in the summer, after Wolves rejected bids from Newcastle, which will keep him at the club until 2030.<\/p>\n

Newcastle, Chelsea told Kees Smit Price<\/h3>\n

AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Newcastle, but they’ll have to pay a hefty figure if they want to sign him in January.<\/p>\n

Reports in Holland suggest the club will hold out for \u20ac60million for his signature, which also comes in the wake of Real Madrid’s interest.<\/p>\n

Just 19, Smit is regarded as one of the brightest talents in the Eredivisie.<\/p>\n

He was open about his future at AZ Alkmaar in which he made it clear he wants to leave Holland in the near future.<\/p>\n

Smit said: “How long do I see myself at AZ? I think six months or a year and a half. After that, I hope to have taken the next step.<\/p>\n

\u201cI expect my transfer to be completed for \u20ac30m. It would be AZ\u2019s most expensive signing and would be good for the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy next step is outside of the Netherlands. No, I don\u2019t find it difficult to accept. In fact, I think it\u2019s wonderful, and I\u2019ve started thinking about it.”<\/p>\n

Joelinton Wanted In Saudi Arabia<\/h3>\n

Joelinton’s time at Newcastle could be coming to an end with clubs in Saudi Arabia ready to lure him away from the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian was named on the bench in the defeat against Manchester United on Boxing Day, but was introduced in the 68th minute.<\/p>\n

Joelinton moved to Newcastle in 2019 and despite a slow start, has been integral to their success in recent years.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old is contracted to the club until the summer of 2028, and Newcastle would be reluctant to sell unless they receive an offer which is deemed too good to turn down.<\/p>\n

That figure is estimated to be around \u00a350million.<\/p>\n

Howe wouldn’t want to leave his midfield short, especially with Champions League football, but his sale will help raise funds to invest in his struggling side.<\/p>\n
