Manchester City are eyeing a January move for Marc Guehi, while Marcus Rashford could be set to return to Manchester United in Tuesday’s transfer roundup.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manchester City Eye January Move for Marc Guehi<\/h3>\n

BBC Sport\u00a0<\/em>report that Manchester City are exploring a move for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi this month after both Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias suffered injuries last weekend.<\/p>\n

Fellow City centre-back John Stones is also currently out with a thigh issue.<\/p>\n

All three are expected to be out for an extended period of time, prompting Pep Guardiola’s side to recall academy product Max Alleyne from his loan spell at Championship side Watford.<\/p>\n

Keen on adding to their options, a January move for Guehi ‘should not be discounted’.<\/p>\n

City were already interested in signing the England international as a free agent in the summer but are now set to accelerate their interest in the in-demand 25-year-old.<\/p>\n

In the Premier League, Liverpool are also interested in Guehi, while top European sides Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter and Atletico Madrid are linked with moves, too.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace want Nathan Ake<\/a>, however a January exit for the Netherlands international now looks unlikely given the Cityzens’ numerous defensive concerns.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim Exit Opens Door For Marcus Rashford<\/h3>\n

Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United exit may have opened the door for Marcus Rashford’s return.<\/p>\n

That’s according to\u00a0The Mirror<\/em>, who report that while Rashford has been vocal about his desire to remain with Barcelona, Amorim’s departure could alter how the forward views his future.<\/p>\n

The England international, who is under contract at Old Trafford until 2028, fell out of favour under the Portuguese manager last season, prompting a loan move to Aston Villa.<\/p>\n

He then joined LaLiga giants Barcelona in the summer, where he has enjoyed a successful spell, having registered seven goals and 11 assists in 25 appearances across all competitions.<\/p>\n

La Blaugrana\u00a0<\/em>have a \u20ac30m (\u00a326m) option clause to sign the 28-year-old permanently, but Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo\u00a0<\/em>report that it isn’t a ‘formality’ that it will be exercised.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Oliver Glasner is the favourite in the next Manchester United manager odds<\/a> market.<\/p>\n

Manchester United Make Ederson Enquiry<\/h3>\n

The Red Devils have made an enquiry to Atalanta about Ederson, according to\u00a0Nicolo Schira<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray have also asked for information about the Brazilian.<\/p>\n

It comes amid United’s search for midfield reinforcements this winter.<\/p>\n

As reported in our transfer roundup<\/a> on December 23, the Old Trafford club are also interested in Premier League quartet Alex Scott, Adam Wharton, Elliot Anderson and Carlos Baleba.<\/p>\n

Should the Red Devils follow up on their interest in Ederson, they are likely to face competition for his signature. Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle have all been linked in the past.<\/p>\n

Barcelona, Juventus, Atletico and Inter have also previously held interest in the 26-year-old.<\/p>\n

Bayern Munich Planning Harry Kane Contract Extension<\/h3>\n

Sky Germany\u00a0<\/em>reporter\u00a0Florian Plettenberg\u00a0<\/em>has confirmed Bayern Munich are set to offer England captain Harry Kane a new contract extension, with the player keen on staying in Bavaria.<\/p>\n

The Bundesliga giants want to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena until 2028 or 2029.<\/p>\n

Initial talks have already taken place, and the process could move quickly.<\/p>\n

Despite this, Bayern are continuing to monitor the striker market so they are prepared at any time in case the former Tottenham Hotspur star decides to leave the club.<\/p>\n

Kane has totalled 30 goals and three assists in 25 matches across all competitions this term.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace To Rival West Ham for Strand Larsen<\/h3>\n

Crystal Palace are set to rival West Ham for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen this winter.<\/p>\n

That’s according to\u00a0The Daily Mail<\/em>, who report that Palace have entered the race for the Norwegian, as they could potentially lose star striker Jean-Philippe Mateta in the summer.<\/p>\n

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the Frenchman.<\/p>\n

The Old Gold value Strand Larsen at around \u00a340m, with four and a half years remaining on his contract, which could prove to be a stumbling block for Palace and the Hammers.<\/p>\n
