Mikel Arteta’s men moved four points clear at the top at the weekend after Manchester City dropped points in their last-gasp draw with Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Darren Fletcher takes charge of Manchester United for the first time as they make the trip to Burnley, while managerless Chelsea travel to Fulham.<\/p>\n

Erling Haaland unwanted record<\/h3>\n

If any further evidence is required on just how prolific Erling Haaland has been at Manchester City, then look no further.<\/p>\n

If the Norwegian striker fails to score against Brighton, it will be the first time since he moved to the Etihad that he hasn’t scored in four consecutive top-flight starts.<\/p>\n

It coincided with dropped points against Sunderland and Chelsea, while edging out a narrow 2-1 victory away at Nottingham Forest.<\/p>\n

It’s a rare drought for Haaland, who has scored 19 goals this season, five more than Brentford’s Thiago.<\/p>\n

Haaland’s longest goal drought in his career stretched to seven games while he was playing for Borussia Dortmund, with three of those matches coming while playing for Norway.<\/p>\n

A family affair for Darren Fletcher<\/h3>\n

Fletcher’s spell as caretaker manager at United is set to be brief, but he could make a slice of history on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Eyebrows will be raised if Fletcher decides to play his sons, Jack and Tyler, who are part of United’s squad, while notable names continue to play at AFCON.<\/p>\n

The pair of 18-year-old twins were both on the bench against Leeds in Ruben Amorim’s final game in charge.<\/p>\n

Midfielder Jack made his debut in December when coming on as a substitute against Aston Villa, as Tyler continues to wait for his opportunity.<\/p>\n

They won’t be the first father and son pairing in the Premier League, which includes the likes of Harry and Jamie Redknapp, Nigel and Brian Clough and Sir Alex and Darren Ferguson.<\/p>\n

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is waiting in the wings to take over at Manchester United after he was spotted in Cheshire.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Tottenham’s midweek nightmare<\/h3>\n

Tottenham head to Bournemouth unbeaten in three and desperate to build momentum to help relieve the pressure on boss Thomas Frank.<\/p>\n

He is currently the third favourite in the Premier League sack race.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

However, their track record of midweek games will provide little confidence.<\/p>\n

Spurs have gone 10 midweek matches without picking up three points in the Premier League, which stretches back two years.<\/p>\n

That includes eight defeats and two draws, including in their last midweek outing against Brentford on New Year’s Day.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth are on a dismal spell themselves and have plummeted down the table, having failed to win in their last 11 league matches.<\/p>\n

Leeds United rolling back the years<\/h3>\n

Leeds face a tricky test away at Newcastle and head into the fixture on the back of seven games unbeaten.<\/p>\n

That includes results against Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea, having moved eight points clear of relegation.<\/p>\n

If they pick up another result against the Toon, it will stretch their unbeaten run away from home to four matches – something they haven’t achieved since 2001.<\/p>\n

To caveat that, they have only won once on the road this season, which came against Wolves in September.<\/p>\n

Newcastle have won six of their 10 matches at home this season and are big favourites to pick up three points.<\/p>\n

Saka to haunt Liverpool again?<\/h3>\n

Bukayo Saka is aiming to become the first Arsenal player to score against Liverpool in four successive home league matches.<\/p>\n

The England international hasn’t scored in six top-flight games but has an impressive record against the Reds.<\/p>\n
