Vinicius Junior to Chelsea Rumours Rubbished<\/h3>\n

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has rubbished rumours linking Vinicius Junior with Chelsea.<\/p>\n

As revealed in Monday’s transfer roundup<\/a>, Spanish outlet\u00a0Fichajes\u00a0<\/em>reported that the Blues were weighing up a \u00a3130m move for the ‘disgruntled’ Real Madrid winger.<\/p>\n

Romano has quashed these claims, stating that the reports are ‘completely wide of the mark’ and that no talks have been held, with the Brazilian focused on performing for\u00a0Los Blancos<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Vinicius’ current deal at the Santiago Bernabeu runs until the summer of 2027, and with Real keen to keep hold of him, Romano says his contract situation will be assessed in due course.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso has seemingly turned things around in the Spanish capital.<\/p>\n

He had previously been linked with an exit, with Zinedine Zidane topping the next Real Madrid manager odds<\/a> market. His job looks to be safe for now, having won four in succession.<\/p>\n

The former Bayer Leverkusen boss reiterated Vinicius’ importance to Real on Wednesday, stating that the 25-year-old is ‘fundamental’ to the club when he’s at his best.<\/p>\n

Oliver Glasner To Intensify Crystal Palace Contract Talks<\/h3>\n

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed that talks over a contract extension will ‘intensify’ over the coming weeks before he makes a ‘final decision’ about his future.<\/p>\n

Glasner led the Eagles to FA Cup glory last year and is out of contract at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

He has been heavily linked with an exit, and he is among the favourites in the next Manchester United manager odds<\/a> market following the departure of Ruben Amorim earlier this week.<\/p>\n

Glasner responded to United links<\/a> in his press conference ahead of his side’s 0-0 draw against Aston Villa on Wednesday, and he has since provided an update on his contract situation.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth are interested in signing Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri on loan.<\/p>\n

The Independent\u00a0<\/em>report that the Cherries want to sign the 18-year-old until the end of the season, however Nwaneri’s preference is to stay at the Emirates to fight for his place in the team.<\/p>\n

Andoni Iraola’s side are keen on adding a new attacking midfielder to their ranks following the impending \u00a365m departure of Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City.<\/p>\n

As revealed in Wednesday’s transfer roundup<\/a>, Semenyo will undergo his City medical on Thursday. It follows on from his late winner for Bournemouth against Tottenham on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Liverpool Considering Move for Mason Greenwood<\/h3>\n

Fichajes\u00a0<\/em>claim Liverpool are plotting an \u00a387m move for controversial ex-Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.<\/p>\n

Greenwood, 24, has excelled in France since joining Marseille in the summer of 2024.<\/p>\n

In total, he has registered 37 goals and 10 assists in 59 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.<\/p>\n

He is currently the French top-flight’s top goalscorer with 11 goals in 16 appearances this term, while he has also starred in the Champions League with three goals and one assist in six.<\/p>\n

Fichajes<\/em>‘ report states that the Reds believe Greenwood can offer ‘dynamism, goals and youth’ to their squad, as they look to rebuild and reshape their attack amid Salah’s potential exit.<\/p>\n

Lennart Karl Open to Long-Term Bayern Contract<\/h3>\n

Bayern Munich youngster Lennart Karl<\/a> is open to penning a new contract at the Allianz Arena.<\/p>\n

This is despite him recently revealing that it would be ‘a dream’ to play for Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

Karl’s current contract with the Bavarians will automatically be extended on his 18th birthday, on 22 February, 2026, reports\u00a0Sky Germany\u00a0<\/em>reporter\u00a0Florian Plettenberg<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It is estimated that he will earn \u20ac2m (\u00a31.74m) gross per year. Bayern want to extend his deal until 2030 or 2031 with a possible salary between \u20ac5m and \u20ac8m (\u00a34.35m and \u00a36.95m).<\/p>\n
