While Everton drew 1-1 with Wolves in their last match.

Plus, Sunderland haven’t won in their last five now – but, in their defence, four of those have been draws.

Don’t forget, if there are any draws in the FA Cup, there will be 30mins of extra-time and then straight to pens – no replays.

These have met once this season too, which was also a draw at the Stadium of Light in early November, so at 11/4 another stalemate might appeal.

They’ve also met 16 times in the FA Cup before too, with Everton holding the bragging rights with eight wins, four draws and four Sunderland wins.

Their last clash in this competition was in 2012, which the Toffeemen won 2-0 away.

In short, it’s a tricky game to call, as Everton will also be without both Michael Keane and Jack Grealish.

With the pair both sent off in Everton’s recent 1-1 draw with Wolves.

Plus, the Merseysiders have also only won one of their last six games.

Both teams NOT scoring has paid out in four of the last five H2Hs (80%), so this might appeal at 4/5.

Which could be backed up further with the Black Cats also having scored only two goals in their last five matches.

BEST BET: BOTH TEAMS NOT TO SCORE @ 4/5

Match Odds

Everton 6/5

Draw 11/4

Sunderland 5/2

Newcastle vs Bournemouth 3:00pm

The next of our FA Cup betting tips comes in another all-Premier League match-up as Bournemouth make the long trip north to face Newcastle.

Like the last game, there is also not a lot between the teams when looking at the league table – with the Cherries just a point (33) ahead of Newcastle (32).

Both sides come here off the back of wins too, with Newcastle winning that 4-3 thriller against Leeds and Brentford seeing off Sunderland 3-0.

Again, like the Everton vs Sunderland game – the pair have only met once this season and that also ended in a draw (0-0 at the Vitality Stadium).

In fact, three of the last four H2H’s have ended all square. So, could we be heading for extra-time or pens here?

They last met in the FA Cup back in 1992 (Third Round) that needed two games and penalties to decide the winner (Bournemouth).

The Cherries will also be without Antoine Semenyo, who has transfered to Man City.

While despite form often being thrown out of the window in the FA Cup, it’s also worth noting Bournemouth have only won one away league game this season.

Suggesting they are not as good on the road and Newcastle is also hardly around the corner.

On a plus for the visitors the last time they came to St James’ Park they thumped Newcastle 4-1 in the league (Jan 2025).

Bournemouth Have a Good Recent Record Away at Newcastle

And are also unbeaten in their last three away league trips to the Tyneside.

However, six of the last eight (75%) H2H’s also saw UNDER 2.5 GOALS, so this might be an option at 4/6.

But the worry here is Newcastle’s last game had seven goals in and Bournemouth’s had five.

So, I think despite the Cherries being without their talisman Semenyo – they come here six games unbeaten against Newcastle.

Therefore, Bournemouth/Newcastle at 11/10 in the DOUBLE CHANCE market looks fair value.

BEST BET: DOUBLE CHANCE ‘Bournemouth/Newcastle’ @ 11/10

Match Odds

Newcastle 4/5

Draw 11/4

Bournemouth 3/1

Tottenham vs Aston Villa 5:45pm, BBC1

The final all-Premier League FA Cup meeting on Saturday will see Aston Villa heading to the capital to face Tottenham.

Of the two sides, Villa are easily going the best this season – up to third in the table with 43 points.

Whereas Spurs are stuttering down in 14th on just 27 points – plus also got booed off in their last game when losing to Bournemouth.

Meaning there is going to be a lot of added pressure on the home side here to win back the fans.

Strangely, Tottenham are also not as good at home as they are away in the league this season.

They’ve won just two at home, but five away, with only Arsenal having a better away league record this term.

However, Spurs are at home here and that could play into Villa’s hands. Who have been decent on the road this season too.

Villa have only lost three of their 11 away league games (five wins).

The Midlands side have also been to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season and won. Beating Spurs 2-1 there back in October.

A repeat of that score can be backed at 9/1.

Villa have also won ALL of the last three H2H’s, plus won three of the last four played at Spurs.

In short, Villa has a decent recent record over the London side and with the Tottenham injury update also telling us they will be without Mohammed Kudus till April – this further sways things towards the away side.

We’ll take Villa to add further woes to Spurs manager Thomas Frank at 6/4.

BEST BET: ASTON VILLA WIN @ 6/4

Match Odds

Tottenham 7/4

Draw 11/4

Aston Villa 6/4

Note: All odds on this page are subject to change

See our quick-fire FA Cup betting tips on Saturday 10th January – covering ALL three all-Premier League clashes, including Spurs vs Villa at 5:45pm.
