Premier League side Newcastle are expected to send a formal offer for Vasco da Gama winger Rayan, according to reports from Brazil.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Newcastle To Make Rayan Bid<\/h2>\n

Vasco da Gama winger Rayan is once again being linked with a move to Newcastle United.<\/p>\n

The youngster was was linked with a move to St James’ Park earlier this month, but the Magpies reportedly ‘cooled’ their interest after Vasco demanded \u00a343.5m to allow the forward to leave.<\/p>\n

His contract at S\u00e3o Janu\u00e1rio runs until 2028 and includes a \u00a369m release clause.<\/p>\n

It is understood that Newcastle are now expected to return to the table to reignite transfer discussions, with\u00a0Brazilian outlet\u00a0Globo Esporte\u00a0<\/em>reporting that a bid could be lodged on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Rayan reportedly did not take part in training on Monday due to ongoing negotiations.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, he trained alone at the club’s gym, suggesting that talks have begun taking effect.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old was rested for the goalless draw against Nova Iguacu last time out but could return against Flamengo on Wednesday night. The fixture may be his final game for Vasco.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth Also Interested in Rayan<\/h2>\n

Alongside Newcastle, fellow Premier League side Bournemouth want to sign Rayan this winter.<\/p>\n

In fact, reports claim that the starlet has agreed on personal terms on a move to the Vitality.<\/p>\n

A club-to-club agreement is all that remains before the prospective transfer reaches its final stages, with the Cherries making an offer worth a reported \u00a330m for the Rio de Janeiro native.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth are in the market for a new goalscoring attacker following the departure of Antoine Semenyo, who joined Manchester City in a \u00a364m deal earlier in January.<\/p>\n

Russian Premier League side Zenit Saint Petersburg have also lodged a \u00a330m bid.<\/p>\n

Vasco still see that figure as below their valuation of Rayan, and they are hoping to receive a fee worth closer to \u00a335m before parting ways with the highly sought-after youngster.<\/p>\n

Newcastle hope they are able to beat the aforementioned pair to the Brazil U20 international’s signature, while Bundesliga duo Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are also interested.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool, AC Milan, Lazio, Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Tottenham, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal and more have all been linked previously.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Newcastle are linked with James Trafford<\/a> in their hunt for a new goalkeeper. The Manchester City and England stopper could become available on loan this month.<\/p>\n
