Dundee United have agreed a multi-year deal with QuinnCasino, extending their commercial partnership with the online betting and iGaming brand.<\/strong><\/p>\n Front-of-shirt sponsorship by gambling firms<\/a> is to be outlawed in the English Premier League from next season.<\/p>\n But the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea all still benefit from having the likes of Betway as official betting partners<\/a> on board.<\/p>\n Clubs in the Scottish Premiership rely on lucrative sponsorship deals from the gambling industry for vital financing.<\/p>\n That situation is unlikely to change as even the sport\u2019s governing body benefits from backing by a popular betting brand.<\/p>\n William Hill<\/a> is the title sponsor of the top four divisions of the Scottish Professional Football League after signing a five-year deal from the start of the 2024-25 season.<\/p>\n Of the 12 SPL clubs there are three that carry the names of betting companies on the front of their shirts, Dundee United, Celtic and Rangers.<\/p>\n Hibernian displays the name of sports betting app SBK as its shirt sleeve sponsor.<\/p>\n Dundee United first linked up with the UK and Ireland family-run brand in the 2022-23 season, when it replaced Eden Mill as front-of-shirt sponsor.<\/p>\n The long-standing agreement between Dundee United and QuinnCasino<\/a> has also seen the operator support responsible gambling and awareness initiatives across the club\u2019s official platforms.<\/p>\n Mark Cunningham, Head of Commercial and Sponsorship at Dundee United,\u00a0confirmed the extended collaboration.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are very pleased to agree this multi-year extension with QuinnCasino on improved commercial terms,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cThey have been a long-standing and trusted partner of the club, and their continued support is greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n \u201cThis agreement reflects the positive working relationship we have developed with the team and our shared approach to delivering a responsible and sustainable partnership.\u201d<\/p>\n Stephen Kelly, Managing Director at QuinnBet,\u00a0said: \u201cThe club has a passionate supporter base and a clear vision for the future.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are proud to continue our association as a long-term partner and remain fully committed to promoting safe and responsible gambling alongside our work with the club.\u201d<\/p>\n Celtic have displayed much more stability in their choice of shirt sponsor than they have in managers.<\/p>\n We wait to see whether Martin O’Neill’s second interim stint at Parkhead will lead to him becoming next Celtic manager<\/a>.<\/p>\n Dafabet has been the longest front-of-shirt sponsor in Celtic\u2019s history.<\/p>\n The online betting and gambling site made its hooped debut at the start of the 2016-17 season.<\/p>\n Its HQ is in the Philippines but it holds a UK gambling Commission license so can operate in the UK.<\/p>\n The collaboration was renewed in December 2024<\/a> to run for another three years.<\/p>\n Rangers and the Kindred Group have another firmly established alliance that began in 2014.<\/p>\n The online gambling operator owns nine brands, including Unibet and 32Red.<\/p>\n An initial three-year deal saw 32Red become Rangers\u2019 front-of-short sponsor for the club\u2019s return to the Scottish Premiership in the 2014-15 season.<\/p>\n
